I received lortabs and I don't think they are right because it's made me feeling fun and sleepy and I was told that they was discontinued a while back ago so why did I receive them.
This is about my medicine?

Lortab is a brand name for the generic drug of the med hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is in the category of being an opioid medicine. There are other brand names of hydrocodone, such as Norco. When one first takes hydrocodone one can feel the 'fun and sleepy' effects as described. However after a short period of time of taking Lortabs, a person will begin to tolerate the hydrocodone so then it will just relieve pain, which is the purpose for taking the hydrocodone (or Lortabs). I do not know if Lortabs were discontinued or not; however since Lortab is a hydrocodone generic, there are other hydrocodone generics available out there.
