How long does it take for side effects from Abilify to go away? I was finally feeling better from the Lexapro side effects but am struggling again now that my doctor added Abilify (2mg). I'm super tired, have insomnia again, shaky at times, decreased appetite, upset stomach at times. Have been on it for close to a week. Thanks!

In general side effects resolve over a week or two and they should begin to subside for you very soon.

Don't give up and just give it some time. We all want a "magic" pill... 100% immediately effective and with no side effects... and if there were such a thing we'd all be taking it.
It's frustrating but you need to be patient. In the long run I'm sure you don't really want to live with the conditions your meds were prescribed for, do you?
