spironolactone for Acne: I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries a couple years ago, having missed a couple periods and showing increased testosterone levels in my bloodwork. My dermatologist was actually the one to prescribe spironolactone - for my acne. While I haven't noticed a huge difference in terms of my skin problems, my periods have finally gotten more regular (31- to 33-day cycle, approximately) when taking 45 mg/day. I've noticed no side effects while taking spironolactone.

spironolactone for Primary Hyperaldosteronism: This medication worked wonders for me. I had virtually untreatable hypertension for nearly ten years. Once I was diagnosed with hyperaldosteronism and placed on Spironaldactone, my blood pressure returned to normal limits in a matter of weeks. Side effects are significant and something of a nuisance, but have no detrimental effects on actual health or level of activity.

spironolactone for Acne: I always used used to get pimples before. Now I seriously never even get one pimple. This really works.

spironolactone for High Blood Pressure: I take 25mg twice a day. It keeps my blood pressure down and I have not had any side effects from taking it.
