metformin for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I have recently began treatment for PCOS with metformin and i love the fact that I am now able to lose weight with medication and am watching what I eat. I have not yet had any side effects. I go back to the doctor soon to have more blood work, hope it is working well.

metformin for Diabetes, Type 2: I began Metformin a week ago to control what is referred to as borderline diabetes with a fasting blood sugar of 129. I am taking only 500 mg twice a daily and had the upset stomach the first couple days only. Coupled with Armour Thyroid and Iodral my cravings for sweets and spicy are much less and I have been able to stick to the diet for 1200 calories and journal for the past 7 days which is a record for me. After my last visit and B12 shot I have been told to double the thyroid if I began to feel tired after a few days again.

metformin for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: For the first time in my life I am able to lose weight by taking Metformin and watching what I eat. I've never been able to sustain weight loss in the past. I feel like the PCOS cloud has lifted. I'm 47.

metformin for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I was prescribed Metformin in combination with Clomid - not sure if it's working yet. It has upset my stomach whether I take it with food or not. Other than that, I haven't experienced any side effects.

Glucophage (metformin) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: Have been suffering for 18 years before someone decided to treat me. Glucophage plus a birth control has made life better.

metformin for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I am taking metformin to control my PCOS. It works really well. The pill is medium sized and doesn't upset my stomach if I take it with food.

metformin for Diabetes, Type 2: I have found this medicine for type 2 to work extremely well. I have had to use many other meds for my type 2 diabetes; and found myself on one heck of a roller coaster ride with high and low and no middle ground. This particular med is great for me, and it helps keep my appetite in control. The apeptite issue is from another med, that I will not mention
