Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I took Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for a year, during which I was having intercourse very regularly. It was the only form of birth control I used, and although I did miss a few pills, my menstrual cycle was always on time, although I often lightly bled during the third week as well. It had the added benefit of clearing up all of my acne, when previously I would get zits on my chin, forehead, and back. The side effects were mild; a nauseous feeling when I first woke up, and constant vaginal dryness.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been taking birth control pills for many years and Orth Tri-Cyclen Lo has been very tolerable with no side-effects besides one: PREGNANCY. I thought it was better than all the others I've tried since it didn't give me headaches or nausea, but I'd take headaches and nausea any day over this. I took this pill exactly as directed, at the same time every morning, never missing a single pill. I avoided foods and medication that could possible interfere with the pill's effectiveness. After a year of being on Ortho Tri-Cylcen Lo and having periods you could set your watch to, I noticed I was a day late. Unfortunately, I have become part of that very small percentage of women that becomes pregnant while taking hormonal contraception.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Endometriosis: I have been taking this OC for 4 years. I have mild endometriosis with occasional pain and/or discomfort. This pill is amazing. It helps decrease the level of pain. I have had fewer mood swings. I have less bleeding during menstruation. I highly recommend this oral contraceptive to any woman who has had trouble with other OCs.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been using Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 6 years now and I have always absolutely loved it! I never experienced weight gain, acne, mood swings and my period is every fourth Wednesday. I have no complaints. It is the perfect birth control for me.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have PCOS and I had gone without a period for 10 months. My doctor put me on Loestrin. I was extremely moody and emotional, crying over everything and very depressed, plus I was spotting and bleeding almost constantly. Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo is the second pill my doctor prescribed, and I am beyond happy with it. I don't even notice that I'm taking it. There are no mood changes, I have lost a little bit of weight and it has even helped with my Rosacea. My periods are coming around the same time every month, which is wonderful because I am finally able to know when to expect it, something that I have never been able to do. The only complaint I have is bad cramps, but they only happen in the first couple of days.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: At the age of 29 I began using Ortho Try-Cylen Lo. I was a bit emotional for the first two months and then this went away. My cramps are very light, and I only have mood swings for a few hours at the begining of that week. My periods are lighter, and on schedule. The only continuous side effect is breast tenderness. It can be really frustrating.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I used Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about a year and a half. It worked pretty well in that I did not get pregnant and did not experience any harsh side effects. (On previous Birth Controls, I experienced sore and enlarged breasts, extremely decreased sex drive, and difficulty even responding to sexual anything). However, I did have more vaginal fluid than I was comfortable with and the fluid also had a different/weird odor. It helped my skin dramatically for the first couple of months, but after that it only helped some. My period was lighter and shorter on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, so that was a plus! No weight gain, no moodiness. On the whole, I'd say it was a successful birth control experience.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: Worked well with keeping skin clear and keeping periods on time, but made my moods ridiculous and hard to manage.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am 23 and took ortho tri cyclen lo (OTCL) for about 5 or 6 years. I started taking it to regulate my cycle, for lighter periods, less cramping and all the other positives the pill boasts (and got it!). I am a pretty emotional gal and this seemed to somewhat help. At worst I would say it had no effect on my mood swings but at least it did not make them worse. over the time I took the pill i gained weight and my boobs grew a cup and 1/2, but i would not blame the weight gain on the pill. OTCL even has cute little cases that you can get from the website for free which i liked and used. I would have stayed on OTCL if I was better about taking it on time and if it were not so expensive ($50 retail, $10-30 w/ insurance)

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been using Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about 2 and a half years. Have experienced racing heart, panic attacks constant mood swings. I get upset and cry over something little, gained about 4 pounds, boobs did get bigger though and I haven't become pregnant, so that's a plus.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: As far as birth control goes it works but I have had horrible headaches, monthly pains that I never had before, horrible mood swings and weight gain and very bloated. I'm switching this week after my cycle.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate): I started Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo 3 weeks ago, for regulating my periods, because I wouldn't get them for months at a time. It took care of that. It also cleared up my face. I've only gotten 1 pimple this month and it went away after 2 days! NO side effects at all. PMS is barely there: no cramps on Thursday (I should get my period on Sunday), only one mild mood swing. I've been a lot happier too. My dad and I barely fight anymore because the pill calms me down.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts: I got on this pill to stop from getting ovarian cysts; while I don't think it completely solved this problem, I found this pill very helpful overall. I had very few side effects: no spotting, no nausea, no loss of hair, but I do still get cramping before my period. It shortened my period to about 5 days and it always comes when expected. I have tried two other types of pills, one being Yaz, and I came back to Ortho-Tricyclen Lo because of the fewer side effects. Its a great pill and I haven't had any problems with it. I've been on it for about 2 years.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Endometriosis: Obviously, everyone's body has different chemistry and because of our genetic predispositions, diet, and environment, study samples of women may all react differently to a certain oral contraceptive. Personally, I found Ortho Tri Cylen Lo to be effective for the first two months, and then I experienced a horrid yeast infection, breakthrough bleeding, and abdominal pains. I took my pills at the same exact time every night with the same amount of water. My sex drive disappeared, and I felt terribly bloated. The absolute worst was my unstable mood. I was making snappy comments and feeling suicidal.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for some time now and the only problem I had is during the first month of using this pill, I had "spotting". It was annoying but went away after the first month. The length of my period remained the same but I no longer have severe cramps like I did before taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. I recommend this birth control pill to all my friends and family and they too are satisfied.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I used Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 4 years with NO side effects or problems whatsoever. I loved this pill. In my 5th year, however, I had MONO (my doctors think, it was never actually diagnosed) which made my liver function decrease and after months of nausea, fatigue, abdominal pain, CT scans, endoscopies, etc. found that stopping the pill made the symptoms go away. My doctor's diagnosis is that for some reason when I had mono it affected my body enough that I couldn't tolerate oral contraception anymore. I'm really upset as I loved this pill and haven't had any luck with other contraceptive methods.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: Pros: Didn't get pregnant, Acne became less severe, period was light and very predictable. Cons: Horrible headaches for 3 months in the beginning, weight gain, increased incidence of spider veins, mood swings Overall: It worked I did not get pregnant, However, the side effects worried/bothered me so I stopped taking it and have since gotten a prescription for a lower dose BC pill called Mircette.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate): I have been on this form of birth control for about 5 months now, and so far so good. It has cleared up my skin completely, and has made my periods shorter. Although I have experienced headaches and dizziness. I have yet to gain any weight, or experience any other bad side effect. I would recommend this birth control if you are wanting to clear up your skin and not get pregnant.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: The clinic I go to didn't have my usual birth control pill, so they gave me this instead, a three-month supply. I didn't get pregnant while using this medication, so it did what it was supposed to do. However, I could have done without the longer, heavier periods and the 15 lb weight gain that has taken me months to reverse (currently taking my usual birth control).

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been using this pill since May of this year. It is also the first pill I've tried. It is a great pill, my monthly cycle is on time and the same week every month only downside its 6-7 days instead of 5-6 like I had before. It has prevented pregnancy for me, I did realize my boobs got a little bigger, my sex drive is the same as it was, no weight gain and there's bad cramping in the beginning of my cycle but then it goes away. Overall it's a great pill and it does do its job. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about starting birth control.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: It's been the best that I've tried. My periods are relatively light and not super painful as a result of taking this. Spotting is occasional. Cravings for pastries are near constant but that may just be me. I do have some mood swings but it's not at an unbearable level and for the most part they are average low, rather than an insane depression. Some of my side effects are residual from other birth control pills. My extra 10 lbs, lowish sex drive, which this hasn't helped but hasn't made worse either.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on this medicine for three months as my first time on birth control and ended up suffering from severe depression, making school and work very difficult. I returned almost completely to myself when I got off the medication and have no more negative thoughts. I didn't get pregnant though, so that's a plus.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on Ortho TriCyclen Lo for about 6 months now and I haven't had many side effects. Good: I went from having terrible cramps to practically no cramps at all. No nausea, no headaches, no spotting. Boobs got a little bigger. Bad: My sex drive was already very low, and now it's even lower. I feel like I could easily go without sex for the rest of my life. Because of this, I will be switching to another pill when this month is done.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on the pill for two years. I must admit that things did start off a little rocky with the nausea, but it did begin to get better because I started taking the pill before bed. It has prevented pregnancy, helped me keep clear skin, and lightened my periods and lessen my cramps. Besides the nausea the pill is very effective and a good choice.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am a serious worry wort when it comes to periods and pregnancy, so last year I asked my doctor for a birth control pill that would give me regular periods. She recommended Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, and I could not be happier. I have a period every 28 days on the dot, and it's only heavy for a few days, with two days of light bleeding that I hardly notice with a liner. I've been on it for a year now and have had zero side effects. No change in appetite, no change in acne - actually, some of my cystic acne has cleared up! No mood swings, and my cramps are MUCH better; I used to get cramps so bad I'd vomit from the pain, but now I only have slight discomfort for a few hours. And best of all: no pregnancy! If you want a combined oral contraceptive pill, this is the best!
