Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts: I got on this pill to stop from getting ovarian cysts; while I don't think it completely solved this problem, I found this pill very helpful overall. I had very few side effects: no spotting, no nausea, no loss of hair, but I do still get cramping before my period. It shortened my period to about 5 days and it always comes when expected. I have tried two other types of pills, one being Yaz, and I came back to Ortho-Tricyclen Lo because of the fewer side effects. Its a great pill and I haven't had any problems with it. I've been on it for about 2 years.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I had been on the pill for about 1 year. The first 3 months were pretty bad, experienced nausea and stomach pains. In the following months my acne cleared, my period pains were less and periods were shorter. I feel I retain water and it shows I gained 10lbs. I was more moody and worried about things that made me feel crazy. I just recently decided to stop using the pill I want to get back to my normal self.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been using this pill since May of this year. It is also the first pill I've tried. It is a great pill, my monthly cycle is on time and the same week every month only downside its 6-7 days instead of 5-6 like I had before. It has prevented pregnancy for me, I did realize my boobs got a little bigger, my sex drive is the same as it was, no weight gain and there's bad cramping in the beginning of my cycle but then it goes away. Overall it's a great pill and it does do its job. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about starting birth control.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am almost 18 and I started taking this two months and a week ago. The first month was terrible. I had a period that lasted over two weeks (quite heavy), and the second month was almost as bad. The worst thing that is happening to me is that I am having hair loss. My once long thick hair is becoming thin and I can see my scalp in lots of places. I've read it is normal for the first 3-4 months, but I have also read that in some cases it didn't go away and going off the pill can worsen it. I have no idea what to do.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate): I started Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo 3 weeks ago, for regulating my periods, because I wouldn't get them for months at a time. It took care of that. It also cleared up my face. I've only gotten 1 pimple this month and it went away after 2 days! NO side effects at all. PMS is barely there: no cramps on Thursday (I should get my period on Sunday), only one mild mood swing. I've been a lot happier too. My dad and I barely fight anymore because the pill calms me down.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate): I have been on this form of birth control for about 5 months now, and so far so good. It has cleared up my skin completely, and has made my periods shorter. Although I have experienced headaches and dizziness. I have yet to gain any weight, or experience any other bad side effect. I would recommend this birth control if you are wanting to clear up your skin and not get pregnant.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on the pill for two years. I must admit that things did start off a little rocky with the nausea, but it did begin to get better because I started taking the pill before bed. It has prevented pregnancy, helped me keep clear skin, and lightened my periods and lessen my cramps. Besides the nausea the pill is very effective and a good choice.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate): I've been on this pill for a couple of months now and I haven't experienced any of these problems others are listing. I don't feel like I'm going to vomit, I don't have migraines, I don't feel dizzy nor have mood swings but my sex drive has slightly decreased. I have yet to gain weight and I think it's doing a pretty good job clearing up my skin. Also, my breast have gotten little bit bigger.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am 23 about 5'3 105. Been on it for about a year now. Went to my doctor to get on birth control when I was getting married. She recommended this because of the low side effects. WRONG! Everything you read here is true! I threw up my first three days on this. Went away after a week. Had headaches, couldn't sleep well, very moody, was always snapping at my husband, crying at everything, had spotting and worst of all I had very low sex drive. I feel I could live the rest of my life without sex. Got off of it for a month and things were so much better. I was already back to my normal self. Got back on it two months ago because of two reasons, it did keep me from getting pregnant and got rid of my acne. Have not gained much weight.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am 20, and have been using this birth control a little over a year. It is my first birth control pill. Effective at preventing pregnancy but that's the only plus. Overall I think it's an okay pill, but I wouldn't say it's the best. It takes about three months to adjust to it, and taking it at night helps with the nausea and headaches you may experience. I have gained 15 pounds while on the pill, which is very disappointing because my diet is better now than it was before and I've always been very active and attend the gym. The weight is hard for me to shed now..it's frustrating. My periods are normal for the most part, but sometimes they come a little later and carry over when I'm back on active pills.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I switched to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo after my insurance changed and Yaz became too expensive. I have been on Ortho Tri Cylen Lo for about 4 months and it has cleared up my acne and been completely effective as birth control. I was moody and anxious for the first 2 months but I feel like I am adjusting to the hormones! I did gain about 5 lbs, but have lost them with exercise and a healthy diet! I am 5'8, 125lbs. Hope this is helpful!

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 4 years now. First I used it to control acne then continued to use it for acne and birth control. This birth control has helped tremendously in controlling my acne. I did put on close to 15 pounds, and I'm only now starting to have luck in taking it off-slowly! My breasts did get a little larger, and I do experience tenderness, tingling, or itchiness sometimes. I have lost most of my sex drive. However, in October 2009 I started experiencing dizzy spells and vision problems that have turned into full-blown migraines, headaches, and body aches. Almost 2 months ago I%u2019ve developed mild-severe digestive problems. Just wanted to share with others. Hope it helps!

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo for about a year now and it has done it's job on preventing pregnancy. It has not affected my weight and has not caused me any sickness. What it hasn't done though is help with breakouts on my face or my flow. And it has caused me to be moody and get upset easily. It has definitely lowered my sex drive.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: This was the first birth control I ever tried and let me tell you my experience was horrible. I constantly felt like I was going to throw up and at times I did. I also felt like crying about everything. I wasn't myself at all so I changed birth control pills to Microgestin and everything has been great. I have been on them for about a year now.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been using this pill for 3 years. I feel this pill helped clear up my acne. I have lighter periods and my cramps are not as bad. I would recommend this pill for anyone who has a heavy flow and really bad cramps. Now my period only lasts a few days and hardly any pain....I do however get really emotional and moody! And have a decreased sex drive. I'm thinking about getting off of it because of my mood swings. Hope this helps.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about 2 months. Couldn't continue with them due to the side effects. I was terribly hormonal and I wanted to eat everything in sight. I cried all the time and everything made me upset and moody. At the time I was 17 (now 18), 5'4" and about 118lbs. It made me gain weight and go up to 126lbs that I now have trouble getting rid of. Hope this helps!

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate): This product was very effective in preventing pregnancy and made my periods a lot lighter but, for me, it came with a lot of side effects. I was extremely moody, I wanted to break down and cry about even the littlest things, I was temperamental and got irritated easier than normal, and my period was extremely irregular. I was only on it for 3 months with these side effects being continuous the entire time so my nurse practitioner decided to change my contraceptive to Levora. I'm 18, healthy, 5'4" and about 110lbs. Hope this helps.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have an ovarian cyst. I've taken Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about 2.5 weeks. I read so many reviews, all were so negative. I was stressing out about taking it. But to my surprise and somewhat disappointment. I didn't get ANY side effects. No headaches, no nausea, no digestive system problems. I don't know yet how effective it is for my problem (ovarian cyst) but it didn't clear up my shoulder acne. Actually, it got somewhat worse. So I'm wondering if it's actually working for me. Don't know how it works as birth control, somewhat scared getting off the condoms. As for the price, I had to pay $70 for one month, which is a lot for me. I'm 17, about 5'2", about 115-120 lbs. Hope this helps!!

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on this pill for about three years. It was the very first and only birth control pill I have ever taken. When I first started I experienced nausea and vomiting but it went away after a week. One time I forgot to take the pill and I was horribly sick for two days. Overall the pill does work. I am not pregnant, it helps with acne a little bit and it decreases cramps. I do have a decreased sex drive and I am emotional. I am planning to change or discontinue the use of birth control pills, but as always everyone is different and I would recommend consulting with your doctor.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on Ortho TriCyclen Lo for about 6 months now and I haven't had many side effects. Good: I went from having terrible cramps to practically no cramps at all. No nausea, no headaches, no spotting. Boobs got a little bigger. Bad: My sex drive was already very low, and now it's even lower. I feel like I could easily go without sex for the rest of my life. Because of this, I will be switching to another pill when this month is done.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate): This pill regulated my period but every month I dealt with yeast infections. I never experienced them until i started this pill. Each month, 1 week before my period I would get one.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: My experience with Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo has been good. I have used it for 2 years. I have not experienced cramping or weight gain. I exercised a lot for the first year, but this past year I have not exercised and I have maintained the same weight evenly. I do think that this helps with my facial breakouts as well. I recommend this product, however I have not tried anything else.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate): I've been on the pill for about 7 months and it's been okay. I have had weight gain but I don't think it's from the pill, more like a lack of exercise since I just started college. I don't exercise as I used to. I'm using it to keep my period regular, which it is doing. I don't think I've had any spotting really. However it hasn't lightened up my period that much and it gives me migraines which I never got before. Also I have more cramps then I did before.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: Taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo made me moody, depressed and anxious. I had cramps a week before and a week after my period. I was like a different person. I have returned to Ortho Tri regular, and I am back to my normal self.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on this pill for a few years off and on. It's very effective at clearing my skin and keeping me not pregnant, but I have gained fifteen pounds, my periods are a little longer but on time. I had depression with another birth control pill and switched back to this, and after a year or so I noticed the weight gain back. It's okay though but my self esteem isn't as great due to weight gain.
