Yohimbine Pregnancy Warnings
Yohimbine has not been formally assigned to a pregnancy category by the FDA. Animal studies with yohimbine have not been conducted and it is unknown whether reproductive capacity or fetal development are affected. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Yohimbine should not be given during pregnancy.
Yohimbine Breastfeeding Warnings
There are no excretion data on the excretion of yohimbine into human milk. The manufacturer recommends that due to the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants, a decision should be made to discontinue nursing or discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.
