Before taking methazolAMIDE, tell your doctor if you also use digitoxin. You may need dose adjustments or special tests in order to safely take both medications together. MethazolAMIDE and digitoxin are often used together but may require more frequent evaluation of your digitoxin, potassium, and magnesium levels. You should notify your doctor if you have symptoms, such as weakness, tiredness, muscle pains or cramps, nausea, decrease appetite, visual problems, or irregular heartbeats. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
