Levomilnacipran may interfere with imaging studies done with iobenguane I-123. Let your doctor know you are receiving or have recently received levomilnacipran if you are scheduled for an imaging procedure to detect pheochromocytoma or neuroblastoma (tumors in the nervous system). You may need to stop using levomilnacipran for a certain amount of time before having the procedure. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Alcohol can increase the nervous system side effects of levomilnacipran such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with levomilnacipran. Do not use more than the recommended dose of levomilnacipran, and avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medication affects you.
