[Posted 09/27/2005] American Pharmaceutical Partners, Inc. and FDA notified healthcare professionals about a nationwide recall of Fluorouracil Injection 50 mg/mL (500 mg/10ml Single Dose Vial) because of the potential for invisible glass particles containing silica and aluminum in vials of the product.
