Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Patients with a known history of severe allergic reaction to the active component or any of the ingredients
- Patients with a severe allergic reaction (e.g., anaphylaxis) following administration of a COVID-19 vaccine
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 12 years.

Administration advice:
- For IM administration only. Do not inject IV, intradermally, or subcutaneously.
- Single-dose vial: Invert the vial gently 10 times before withdrawing the dose; do not shake.
- Prefilled syringe: Do not shake syringe; attach a sterile needle prior to administration.
Storage requirements:
- During storage, minimize exposure to room light and avoid exposure to direct sunlight and ultraviolet light.
- Prefilled syringe:
- Do not freeze; discard if product has been frozen.
- If prepared syringes are not used immediately, they must be used within 4 hours of attachment with a sterile needle.
- The total time that syringes may remain unrefrigerated at temperatures between 8C and 25C (46F and 77F) should not exceed 12 hours.
- Single-dose vial storage before use: Consult the manufacturer product information and/or the Fact Sheet for Health Care Providers.
- If frozen, thaw in the refrigerator 2C to 8C (35F to 46F) for up to 2 hours OR at room temperature up to 25C (77F) for up to 30 minutes; the total time that vials may remain unrefrigerated at temperatures between 8C and 25C (46F and 77F) must not exceed 12 hours.
- Store refrigerated between 2C and 8C (36F and 46F) for up to 10 weeks.
- Once withdrawn from the vial, the dose should be immediately administered.
- Do not refreeze thawed vials.

- Vials and prefilled syringes should not be diluted prior to use.

General:
- This information pertains only to the vaccine product supplied in a single-dose vial OR prefilled syringe with a gray label border stating "2024-2025 Formula."
- Each dose must contain 0.3 mL of vaccine.
- This vaccine does not contain preservatives.
