0.1 mL intradermally to the volar surface of the forearm
Comments:
- Use a 0.5 mL to 1.0 mL tuberculin syringe and a one-half inch 26 to 27 gauge needle.
- Insert the needle bevel side up in the skin at a 15 to 20 degree angle. This will result in a bleb 5 to 10 mm in diameter at injection site.
Use: For the detection of delayed-type hypersensitivity to Coccidioides immitis in individuals with a history of pulmonary coccidioidomycosis in patients 18 to 64 years of age.

Precautions
US BOXED WARNINGS:
- Reaction diameters exceeding the size of a quarter after 24 to 48 hours may require treatment with a local cold compress and anti-inflammatory medication.
- Skin antigen tests can cause systemic reactions in certain patients which may be life-threatening or cause which may lead to death. Trained emergency personnel and measures should be immediately available. Observe patients for at least 20 minutes following the use of this drug.
- This drug should never be given intravenously.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Severe hypersensitivity to the active component or any of its ingredients or other coccidioidin products.
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 18 years.

Storage requirements:
- Refrigerated at 2 to 8C (35 to 46F). Do not freeze. Discard if frozen.

- Observe patients for at least 30 minutes following the use of this product to monitor potential adverse reactions.
