Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "It seemed to work at first, and ended up getting a refill and using it for almost a month, but it's been a couple weeks since my refill ran out and I have blood on the toilet paper again... Maybe it's my own fault for not eating enough fiber while I was using Proctofoam, but still it's frustrating."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "It's May 17th I just applied this $164 cream to my anus. I used PH and that didn't work. Right now the proctofoam is working as the hemorrhoids are not hurting or itching. I will come back to give a update after 5 days."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "I am in the same situation as above. This is my fifth day of having hemorrhoids and have used ALL the over the counter medicines. Proctofoam seems like it helps more. This is my first day of use, so hopefully the swelling subsides soon. Definitely better though."

Sarna Sensitive (pramoxine) for Pruritus "I was given 34 treatments of radiation to my breast for cancer. My Dr told me to use Sarna 3-4 times daily. As treatment progressed I had dry, burned, itching skin, and this product was the only relief I could get. It was so cool and soothing and kept my skin moist. I love it and think the company should add this on many cancer center sites, as we need all the comfort we can get, Thank you Sarna"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Pain "This was for my anal fissure. I had 3 refills because medication gets wasted as it does not go into applicator....but definitely seeps out side of canister. $166.00 x 3 and what a waste of money. Would probably be a great drug if product didn't waste out sides. Called manufacturer, called pharmacy...it's like getting clearance for NASA. PLEASE BEWARE!"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "I have had a bad case of hemorrhoids for 6 months now and have tried everything otc, even a few trips to the ER! I finally was referred to a general surgeon who said while yes I have some hemorrhoids, I also have an anal fissure. He prescribed Proctofoam and so far so good! No pain, no bleeding! My insurance did not cover this and I had to pay $135, but it has been worth it! When I go back to the Dr in 10 days, I will update my review and rating!"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "I wish I could share a positive review for proctofoam hc. I had a painful swollen exterior burning hemorrhoid flair up 9 days ago. Had proctofoam hc prescribed 7 days ago. I also had Proctozone -hc cream prescribed and use them together for what it’s worth. Had to order it and have been using it for 6 days. It seems to help a little bit with the pain. I still have constant pain but not as bad. I found taking 800mg of ibuprofen along with 1000mg of Tylenol stops the pain for at least 4 hours and sometimes all day. The swelling has gone down by half but the hemorrhoid hasn’t gone back in which is uncomfortable. I can push it in but it comes back out. I’m curious about what my condition would be by now without the foam (which I paid $170.00 for) just using the cream ($35.00) and ibuprofen and Tylenol."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) "Proctofoam was prescribed for me after rectal cancer surgery. I tried using it then and now after ileostomy reversal and in all instances it did not provide any significant relief, mostly because it won't come out of its container. For me, Proctofoam is an absolute failure as a remedy for rectal pain."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "It didn’t help as much as I hoped. It was disappointing after so many positive reviews. The hemorrhoids have shrunk slightly but seem to still be getting flared up and I’m still in quite a bit of pain."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "Proctofoam is a good product yes the applicator can be difficult at times so what I do is I stick it under my armpit for like 5 minutes to warm the metal container up then it fills the syringe with ease this product is a lifesaver especially when I'm sitting in the tree stand during hunting season thank you"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "I'm 56 healthy no other meds, been on proctoform for several year. Only 2 refills a year started out at $101 then $125 today it was $135 dollars insurance want cover it, shame on Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I don't use a full dose, it works pretty quick! If your not careful with the adapter you will waste a half dose. Last year my Gastrointernologist said everything looks good during my Colonoscopy, I received a 10 Year Certificate. Lol"

Sarna Sensitive (pramoxine) for Anal Itching "Used Sensitive NOT original. Be Careful because the bottles look alike. It takes about ten minutes but the itch goes away. Also, if your using it during the day don't use too much because it could soak through. Works Great!"

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "I will say, this stuff works phenomenally. Been dealing with hemorrhoids for 10 years. This gave me the relief I needed to heal. I don't however care for the applicator syringe. A large portion shoots out around the plunger and once it actually popped open and exploded all over me discoloring my clothes."

Eczemin (pramoxine) for Pruritus "For 10 years, I have been experiencing severe itching along my jawline right up to the ears. I was seen by my primary care providers and also a few dermatologists. They were not able to diagnose the problem and suggested Cortisone. I do not like Cortisone, as it "thins" the skin. Finally, one of my providers suggested Eczemin Cream. I tried it and it is the only thing that relieves the "itch." I wouldn't want to be without it. It's a MUST and goes in my "travel" bag."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "When I first used Proctofoam it burnt a little but within 5 minutes there was relief from the excruciating pain that nothing had ever helped before. It shrinks the inflammation and made going to the bathroom easier. A tip to not wasting the product I have found is to not put the plunger all the way on the “syringe”. Just lightly lay it on top so it doesn’t spray out. Then when you have your desired amount inside of it, bend the plunger slightly to one side and slide it down until the product starts to come out of the tip. The only bad thing about this product is the high price. There isn’t a generic as of yet. Some insurances will deny it until you’ve tried other products first. Don’t give up. Keep appealing."

Curasore (pramoxine) "I have used curasore for years, for my cold sores, it is the best product I have found to cure cold sores. I've also found that if you feel a sore coming on , if you treat the area you want get a cold sore. My only wish is I can't find the product any more. Drug store said it was back ordered till 2023. I pray that statement is wrong."

Proctofoam (pramoxine) for Hemorrhoids "Tried creams and TUCKs nothing worked. Went to family Dr who prescribed Proctofoam and relief came within 1-3 days and after 7 days the medium to large hemorrhoid shrunk about 80%. Came with 1 refill (ask for refill) and entire Hemorrhoid (multiple bumps) was gone by end of two weeks. I have had hemorrhoids return about once every few years now and immediately call doctor and ask for Proctofoam. Take it until it disappears. For me flying long distances seems to bring it back (sitting and maybe the altitude?). Highly recommend! It is a miracle drug."
