For Birth Control "I hate Aubra! It has been affective in preventing pregnancy which is obviously the great part. However, my sex drive has drastically decreased, I've been cramping since week 2, I've been extremely emotional, and now I've been menstruating longer than usual (it has always been 3-4days now I'm on day 6). My appetite has definitely increased especially closer to me menstruating. I'm just not enjoying this birth control at all! I will not be starting a new pack!"

For Birth Control "Throwing mine in the trash!! I've been on Aubra for about three weeks. Been spotting/bleeding ever since. I have had the worst headache of my life for two weeks straight not to mention the nausea and vomitting. I'd rather just risk a pregnancy. This is ridiculous. I can't even function with daily life."

For Birth Control "This pill has been a painful experience. It is definitely effective because I haven't gotten pregnant or anything. At first it was nice because my periods were lighter, and my cramps weren't too bad. But about 2 months into taking it I realized I was always really emotional the day before my period which I just chalked up to PMS. But then I found myself crying all the time over seemingly nothing and it wasn't just simple tears I was always close to having anxiety attacks. So far there ain't been a day or two that's passed where I wasn't crying over something. Physically, I didn't have any side effects but emotionally it really tore me up. I was depressed and felt empty. Switching off this pill ASAP"

For Birth Control "Received this birth control from planned parenthood and shortly after taking it I started to have night sweats every night. I also experienced a loss in libido and mood swings. Positives we're that it cleared up my skin and I didn't get pregnant."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on aubra for 3 years and god have I been patient with this ! It started off good I had no side effects at all but then after 2 years I started to have cramps every month two weeks prior my period I would get severe cramps and bloating. Sometimes my breasts would be tender and sore and my legs felt so heavy and sore as well !The only good news from it is that I haven’t gotten pregnant and my skin glows ! Now after 3 years of taking it I’m considering switching from it ."

For Birth Control "Aubra is the first BC I have ever been on. It started out great, 2 months in I started spotting, but by the 3rd month my period was back to normal and fairly light. Now I’m noticing weight gain, bad mood swings, and terrible acne. My breasts have grown quite a bit but are constantly sore. My back also aches now as well. My mood swings are completely unpredictable too. I go from being very irritable and angry to crying and depressed to laughing and happy all within one day. As far as birth control, it is doing its job very effectively, but the side effects are a lot."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on the pill for almost a month now and I’ve been getting bad cramps I always feel bloated and nauseous and I’ve gained some weight. And I wouldn’t recommend it but it has made my skin clear up."

For Birth Control "I have been on Aubra for 3 months now. Everything was going good until I decided I wanted to skip a period by skipping the sugar pills and going straight into a new pack. Instead I ended up with a light period for 2 weeks and acne around my mouth/chin. I have never had acne my entire life until I got on the birth control. I called planned parenthood where I got prescribed it and they said its normal and acne may last 3 months!!!! I've decided today to get off of it, my face hurts from this acne lol and I do not recommend!"

For Birth Control "This is my first time being on bc, I just started my 3rd pack. Everything was fine until about 2 weeks ago when I started having a pretty bad constant headache & occasional migraines. I went to a walk-in & the medication they prescribed hasn't helped at all. My anxiety & depression has gotten much worse (probably adding to the headache too). I'm not sure if I should stop taking it before seeing my primary doctor or not. Idk seems like it's doing more harm than good."

For Birth Control "I gave it a 5 because it did its main job-- 8 months in and I'm not pregnant. Even with me taking it late a few times. Otherwise, I am not a fan. The first few months were okay except lack of sex drive. Now I feel nausea, my boobs feel and look like they do during pregnancy, and it caused me to gain some weight. I want to switch but they all kind of suck."

For Birth Control "I’ve used aubra for around 11 months now and has worked great for me. I used to have a lot of acne and now my skin has cleared up with the occasional one or two pimples but they’re barely noticeable. I also had heavy periods that would last from 7-9 days and they were painful. I would have to wear both pads and tampons and change them every 2-4 hours depending on the day. Now my period lasts 2-3 days and it’s way lighter than before. The pain is still there on the first day but it’s not as bad. I wouldn’t recommend skipping periods though because the last time I did it, I bled for 2 weeks straight."

For Birth Control "Worst birth control I've ever taken it's makes me super depressed and emotional I have no sex drive it started at first to clear up my acne but now has increased. I thought the depo was bad this is worse have been taking for about 3 months now and symptoms have been getting worse severe nausea, headaches and the depression has only gotten worse than before I hate this birth control have given it a fair shot and has only been making my life miserable as well as my boyfriend's"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this for almost two weeks, haven’t seen any annoying side effects or any bleeding. I only noticed my sense of nose slightly increased. Things seem to be a little strong... other than that it has not given me any problems and I would recommend it. I also receive it from PPP."

For Birth Control "First time on birth control (bc) and I am relieved to not have had any major side effects after taking this bc for a month now. The first day I took it I felt a little nauseous but switched to taking it before bed and now don't feel anything (even if I forgot the night before & have to take it in the middle of the day) I did get two pretty big pimples the first week but no physical changes besides that. I THINK I'm on my period now (end of first pack) but very very light bleeding & no cramps."

For Birth Control "I've been taking till pill for about a year now. It's been working great so far, only problem is the effect it has on my hormones. It's been making me crazy emotional. I've never been an angry person but ever since I started the pill it's so hard for me to control my anger."

For Birth Control "I am very happy with Aubra. At first I experienced terrible migraines for the first few weeks, but afterwards they went away. Similarly with acne, I had a flare the first few weeks I used it, but afterwards my acne has severely improved and I've had a clear face since. Sometimes around the time of my 'period' I get a few blemishes but nothing serious. To be fair though, I never had bad acne to begin with. For the main reason, in terms of birth control, I haven't gotten pregnant which is the best part! In addition my cramps and periods are a lot shorter and less severe. I was afraid to try this but overall I would highly recommend!"

For Birth Control "I recently just stopped taking Lyza because I realized it wasn't help me get my period back . Before that I was on Depo (the shot) which got rid of my period completly . I just started taking this birth control (Aubra) and so far, I haven't notice any really crazy symptoms or spotting. I would get mild headaches but nothing ibuprofen couldn't fix. I'll update soon :)"

For Birth Control "Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this pill. I read all the terrible reviews and still went for it. I was previously on Microgestion for 6 months, it did me wonderful. When it came time to get my new packs, Planned Parenthood supposedly didn't carry it anymore. I was told Aubra was the exact same thing and wouldn't affect me differently. What a lie that was. Two weeks into my pack and I got my period again for the month. Third week and I'm having terrible cramps accompanied with more bleeding. My appetite has changed, I'm not eating much. Grateful I haven't experienced acne, mood changes, nausea or headaches. But don't even wanna chance it. Contemplating if I should throw out the pack or finish and just drop. DON'T RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!"

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for 3 months now and have had several negative side effects. I'm experiencing acne, bleeding and cramping between periods, severe anxiety, headaches, moodiness, and weight gain. However, it has prevented pregnancy thus far."

For Birth Control "Horrible side effects! I'm super moody, terrible acne, mild to excruciating cramp pain, I'm having outburst at work, and crying myself to sleep.. just stay away from this. All birth controls are bad but this one tops the cake."

For Birth Control "Medication made me depressed easily over nothing never was one for mood swings also it was a constant struggle to stay awake period went from super tampons to ultra tampons acne for the first time in my life after I decided to get off of it and worst of all it made sexual sensitivity numb to any stimulation so glad to be off of this garbage..."

For Birth Control "18 years old. 4th month. Some symptoms: sickness (worse right after taking the pill and more around 1-4am), migraines, bad cramps (on and off period), nausea (I still haven't vomited but there are times where I think it'll be more satisfying then feeling like it), my stomach sticks out like a balloon, I've been pretty emotional (I get really sad and have no idea why), I fainted twice and get dizzy often, my body feels weak and I bruise easily, both knees cramp up, but my period is regular and light and my acne has went down.. also I'm not pregnant so that's good too."

For Birth Control "Didn’t get pregnant so at least it was effective…however I gained 15 pounds (while dieting and going to the gym 5 times a week), felt either depressed or irrationally angry 24/7, and got the worst painful cystic acne of my entire life. This pill is the worst I only lasted a month on it I can’t wait to switch back to ortho tri cyclen. Many people recommended trying this one but it was a huge mistake for me."

For Birth Control "I've been on Aubra for a month now. My experience with this birth control was really great. I didn't know what to expect on this pill but I ended up having a great experience. I had little to no nausea and I only got a tiny bit emotional the week of my period. I love being on this pill. It eased my cramps a lot and doesn't make me break out. I will continue to use this birth control."
