For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Following up on my August 5, 2020, review of the Sandoz patch. My gyn switched me to a twice-weekly patch - Mylan. This brand is worse than Sandoz. I applied a patch Friday night, and by Saturday evening, I was sweating profusely. This is the second week on the Mylan patches. Again, women deserve better than being guinea pigs for cheap drug companies."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I loved my Alvagen estradiol patch. It helped with intense hot flashes, and that's why I started HRT mostly. Earlier this year, I was informed Alvagen was discontinued. I was prescribed the Mylan brand of estradiol patch. Aside from the ugly foam Band-Aid look, this product does not work! I just tossed and turned and woke up drenched in sweat. I am removing the patch, and I'm going cold turkey without until I can find a decent replacement. This patch is like having no estrogen patch on at all!"

For Primary Ovarian Failure "I did not have a positive experience with this patch. I received the Minivelle dot and used it for a thin uterine lining. I wore it for about an hour and felt hot, clammy, dizzy, and my heart rate went through the roof. I also started sweating profusely. I immediately took it off and the symptoms went away a few hours later. Several months later, I unknowingly received the same script from my endocrinologist for Minivelle for primary ovarian failure due to endometriosis and PCOS complications. I decided to try it again - this time with a Xanax in case the symptoms were due to anxiety. They happened again anyway, so it was confirmed that it was the patch. I am very sensitive to hormones and have not tolerated many forms of birth control pills, so I am not surprised."

For Oophorectomy "It had already lost its adhesive before I attempted to put it on. When I put it on, 1/2 was transparent and the other 1/2 stayed clouded. I was on this for ovarian/ovaries removed (oophorectomy). I was a crying mess after day 3. These patches do not work. We called the doctor to get a different kind. I'm sweaty, I'm irritated. Just not good medicine."
