"Cetacaine was incredible to use for the pain in the back of my throat. It worked fast and for a good duration. Much better than the over-the-counter stuff, which only lasted about 5-10 minutes."

"Upon application of Cetacaine for a dental procedure, I experienced a rapid increase in saliva, local irritation, moderate respiratory distress, and watery eyes. Within one (1) minute, severe uncontrolled coughing, loss of voice, and shortness of breath were highly pronounced. The procedure was stopped. Metallic and solvent taste in mouth - not the 'banana' flavor for me at all. The onset of a mild headache within one hour - lasting for ~8 hours. Mucous membrane irritation in mouth remained for +8 hours."
