Does taking Prozac cause weight gain?

For me it did. I was only on it 2 months and packed on almost 30 lbs. I stopped it at that point. However, I have a cousin who felt so much better taking it, she did more and was more active and she lost some weight, and is still on it to this day. Just goes to show we really do react differently to different meds. If you need it, I'd suggest trying it and see what happens. You can always change to another. Best of luck, ChelleKay
