Does any one see flashing lights on topamax?

My doc keeps telling me its not a side effect of the topamax because I have been on it for a while and if it was the cause I would have noticed it right away but I'm curious to know if this has been a problem for anyone else

Migraine - Why should one avoid alcohol while taking Topamax?

I rarely drink, but when I do I seem fine and then BAM!!! And I will wake rarely remembering the last half hour of the previous evening... I want to be able to enjoy an occasional adult beverage, but is it even possible with this medication?

Has anyone used Topamax for nerve pain? If so, what was your dosage?

My neurologist prescribed 50 mg per day for some mild nerve pain. It seems like a pretty heavy duty drug with a ton of bad side effects so I'm not sure the cure wouldn't be worse than the disease, so to speak. I sure wouldn't mind the weight loss side effect, though!
