It is small, so the doctors want to "watch it". Is that safe? Can they put a stent in, or do they have to do a bypass to repair it? I don't feel good about their "wait and see" attitude.

... check up. The echo showed that I had a large thoracic aneurism. I am having to wait 8 days for the angiogram and probably 3 weeks for surgery. My question is: is this unusual and did any of you have anxiety as a result of the wait time. I feel like a ticking time bomb.
