It only happens when laying on my back and taking a deep breath... But it's driving me crazy! IM a 32 yrold female 5'6 140 lbs. No other symptoms. No medical problems. I was in the hospital over a year ago . I was very sick with fever and horrible back pain turns out I had fluid around my lungs and heart all due to a viral infection. I had many xrays and two echo cardiogram my heart is perfect so I know it's not that. Is it possible that it is acid reflux without hat burn? His do I get rid of this??? At my wits end!

Hi Nicki, what follows is pure speculation but a doctor will tell you in minutes with a stethoscope.
A gurgling sound in the lungs might be something commonly referred to as rails. Most common in smokers, it is a result of fluid or mucus in the lungs.
Nicki, can you message me so we can talk more? I really want to talk to someone else dealing with the same thing and talk about our symptoms thwy sound very similar! I still havent gotten answers! :/ I’m just kind of giving up on finding any at this point… I figure if it was bad enough it would show on c t scan or blood work? I only feel the vibration after I’ve been laying on my back for a while, and once I take the full breath and I feel the rattling in vibrating in the right side of my lungs area it goes away after that until I’ve been laying a little bit longer without taking a deep breath. It only does it upon one deep breath! So strange.. I’m not a smoker and I’m very healthy! I’m 5’3 and 120 pounds!
After much testing and seeing many specialist I have been diagnosed with Maigne’s syndrome also known as thoracolumbar junction syndrome. The symptom we are feeling are compressed Nerves or some things shifted funny. Chiropractor care will help along with physical therapy. It has made mine pretty much go away.
Interesting! Are you getting pain in your legs, Butt area or groin area?’s I’m not getting any pain there at all I only have that one symptom which is when I lay down on my back and take one deep breath and I feel gurgling on the right hand side and vibrations. When I looked up what you were diagnosed with I didn’t see anything regarding that. I wonder if I could still be the same thing though? Interesting glad you found answers and are feeling better with physical therapy!
Do you have any mid back pain at all by chance? Or possibly put on a little bit of weight?
