I had the same problem you are describing. It isn't that I got use to it over time, for me Adderall was a drug that was not consistent. I would feel lousy some days and good on other days. I have read that amphetamines are like that in that each dose can produce inconsistent results from dose to dose. In time I leaned to deal with the inconsistencies & Adderall became a mostly positive for me.
I'm definitely not insinuating that this is to be your outcome. If your feeling sad, foggy, etc. I would talk with your provider and discuss the possibility that another drug may help. I did have a better outcome with Vyvanse but my insurance stopped covering it. Vyvanse seemed to have a more predictive result from day to day. In short, I felt better with a longer acting stimulant.
I hope you find a balance to your moods and I can talk to you further if you need.

Another thing, nicolebird, I do not think the increase is to blame for your negative side effects. I believe 15mg twice per day is relatively low. I was taking 45-60mg a day.
did anything help you when you were having the bad days? did you have the bad days for a week at at time? im so glad im not alone with these symptoms... when i started feeling dazed and stupid it was like extremly intense, and as soon as the meds wore off i felt so much better... but i was getting confused because the first month on adderall i felt so good, clear headed, happy, no anxiety... so when it like flip floped on me i was terriffied... i keept thinking just my luck, i found something that helped me in so many way, and now its back fireing... when i told my doc, he just wants to increase the mg. but im afraid the higher the mg, the stronger the daze and depression will get... but if its not normal for the med to switch effects like that, maybe its just intensifying how i already feel... i dont know though...
It could be intensifying how you already feel. For me, I am normally a depressive. So, any drug can make those feelings worse. As for adderall, I would have days on end where I felt sad, anxious, foggy, etc. & then it would lift and I felt better.
It is up to you to go up on your dose or not. You said you felt better on 10mg doses but it did not last long enough. Have you tried taking 10 mg maybe 4 times per day every 3-4 hours? That way you aren't taking a large dose all at once and can keep the stimulant in your system.
Please keep me informed of your progress. I really am hoping you find a way to feel better. God knows we all could do with feeling right for a change, eh.
Perhaps one could be able to get used to certain conditions with passage of time, these could be the side effects of taking adderall, if they get too bothersome, it would be recommended to seek medical advice be safe & well.
im not understanding what you mean...
