What is cardiorespiratory arrest?

Answers

This means both breathing and the heart has stopped. Respiratory arrest means the breathing has stopped but the heart is still beating. This will lead to the heart stopping if rescue efforts are not started. A person who is in cardiorespiratory arrest will die in minutes if rescue efforts (CPR) are not started.
