I'm on the birth control Portia 0.15mg. I have really intense periods and I know it's not harmful to skip the last week (the inactive sugar pills) and start my new pack right away to "skip" your period. But am I still just as protected against pregnancy, as if I followed the normal pill schedule?? Thank you!

Answers
Hi Kylie, yes you are. All you are doing is is avoiding your period; girls who choose this often opt to have a period every 6 months without harm.
Take care. :-)
