For Uterine Fibroids "I had my heavy period and strong and constant pain which stops me doing my normal life for more than 5 years. Since I have started to inject this Lupron it has changed my life after all those painful years now I had 4 injections already and go for the fifth one. The only side effect I had is hot flashes especially during nights and some bone pain which are nothing to compare with the pain I had for more than 5 years. It is really worth to try if you are on the heavy bleeding and pain."

For Endometriosis "I was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis and was prescribed Lupron. After reading all of the horrible reviews and side effects I was terrified to try this. After chatting with my doctor we both agreed that this would be the most aggressive treatment as my husband and I would like to get pregnant one day. I am on month 3 of the shot and I have to say that I am pleased. The worst thing are the hot flashes. For me they are at least 10 times a day! But I will take that over the excessive cramping and pain any day. I feel minor cramps occasionally during the time I would normally have my period. I have experienced no depression, weight gain, weight loss, bleeding, joint pain etc. I am hoping after the treatments I will be able to conceive."

For Prostate Cancer "On lupron beginning July 2017. Now 2019 and still on 3 month dose. I experience all the known side affects and it is not much fun. I am 66 years old and have advanced prostate cancer stage 3. My PSA undetectable since surgery and 40 radiation treatments. Hot flashes, weight gain, fatigue, tingle in feet, itching, impotence and bone aches. PSA is still undetectable...going off lupron in May 2020...we will see what happens then."

For Endometriosis "Stage 4 endometriosis. I've been on Lupron for 3 months and will get another injection next week. I've had a few hot flashes, about 1x/day occasionally, but not everyday. I have stayed below my original weight by about 5lb. Some moodiness/occasional depression. But overall I haven't had any major problems! I was very worried about side effects before starting Lupron, but am glad I did it. I want to be healthy! I'm getting married next weekend also so have been planning a wedding at the same time. We're hoping to get pregnant next year!"

For Uterine Fibroids "I had extremely painful periods and constant bleeding. My doctor started me on the shot in Jan. and had second one in March. Best thing I ever did. No bleeding after 1st month and no pain after the 2nd month. Side effects were in my opinion mild. Worst were the hot flashes but in my opinion worth it. Doctor only wanted me to have to 2 shots so after June going to see what happens. I don't want to get on any birth control so will see what happens. I'm really hoping this makes it all better."

For Endometriosis "I really feel it is important to share my experience with this drug. I did extensive research before making my decision to start the Lupeneta pack. I was scared and I prayed to have a good experience since most reviews for this drug are aweful. I am grateful to be able to give this drug TWO THUMBS UP! I am taking one month shots combined with the add back pills. The first month I experienced NO increase in symptoms. I bleed for the first month and a half, now my constant bleeding is gone! For the first month I experienced very mild hot flashes, now none at all. My quality of life is 110% better and I am pain free. I am so grateful i took a chance on this medication. I finally got a break from the constant pain and exhaustion from endo."

For Prostate Cancer "My father has prostate cancer and he was given the Lupron shot. Everything was going fine for my dad until 2 weeks after the shot. He started having side effects from the shot. Now before I go any further let me just say if anyone has PTSD do not take this drug. My father started seeing things that were not there, hearing things that no else could hear, and smelling things that no one else could smell. Now not everyone will have the same side effects, but if you have PTSD it will kick it into gear. This might be the right treatment for you, it is not for my dad. Again if you struggle with PTSD this may not be the treatment for you. I hope this was helpful in some way. "

For Uterine Fibroids "I had to get the 3 month Lupron Depot shot to help shrink my uterine fibroid and to help minimize the bleeding before surgery. After reading all the reviews on the shot I was very scared to get it but I am now going into my third month on the shot with minimal side effects. My doctor did recommend that I continue my birth control pills while on the shot to help add a little estrogen back into my system. I'm not sure if that's what help me with the side effects. All in all everyone's body reacts differently."

For Endometriosis "I was on Lupron for 6 months back in 09. The side effect weren't bad for me at first but I have to say the night sweats were the worst! I just hated waking up in the middle of the night, needing to shower because I was so sweaty. However, I was pain free! I had an AWESOME summer and went camping, mountain biking, traveling. My pain has slowly come back over the years and my (new) doctor just gave me my first shot of Lupron yesterday. I am hoping it works just as well as it did the first time. I want to be me again."

For Endometriosis "I had 2 injections of this ruinous dangerous drug - Lupron! 1. NEVER use if have PMDD or PMS! Thyroid disease. Or serious mental issues after child birth aka manic depression. My gracious Dr by passed all the contraindications!! I have spent the past 26 years in an unimaginable state of severe fear! I was diagnosed with hypothalamus, adrenal, and digestive exhaustion. I had to have food supplements to survive! This drug will ruin your MIND! Get a hysterectomy instead!!! It can't cure endometriosis!!!! Get on bio identical hormones after wards! You'll be feeling BETTER WITHOUT uterus, and be able to go on! PLEASE PLEASE do NOT let ANYONE talk you into using this brain altering destroyer! You will NEVER have your full sanity!"

For Endometriosis "Don't do it! I got the 3 month shot 1 month ago and have had these symptoms so far: constant and severe pelvic pain, sharp lower back pain, pain when bladder is full and when emptying, lots of migraines & headaches, nausea, vomiting, high anxiety, extreme fatigue, very low mood swings, loss of appetite and insomnia. The worst symptom of all is the severe depression, I have had several thoughts of suicide. I would rather deal with just the pain than all of these together. I was told by my doctor the only symptom I would get is hot flashes and she had only heard of success stories with this drug, that was a total lie. If you react badly with other birth controls do not do Lupron, it's a living nightmare!"

For Endometriosis "I am 37 and for the most part been very healthy...never pregnant and married for three years. I have had ovarian cyst, but have been controllable. Nov.9, 2014 I went to the ER and the next day I was having a mass and 6" of my colon removed due to Endometriosis. I had stage 4. My OBGYN suggested this shot. I read all the reviews and was VERY learey of starting it, but I just took my second shot. It has not been so bad. I have experienced hot flashes and weight gain. I have about 4-6 hot flashes a night, but no sweats yet. I am hungry ALL the time and it seems the more I eat, the more I want. I cant seem to get full. I have gained 10 pounds in about 6 weeks. My mood has been good though. I have had to start Osphena due to side effects."

For Endometriosis "I was put on lupron depot for three months for endometriosis. I received an injection every month. My treatment started in January and ended the first Saturday in March 2020. The side effects weren't all that bad. I got my period on my dose but it eventually went after that. I had however severe headaches that made me dizzy, experienced some mood changes (mostly anger), painless sex, hot flashes (manageable) and joint pains at the end of my last shot. The joint pains are mostly in my knees and fingers but i only experience those after waking from a nap. Once I get up and start moving about they disappear. I now await my cycle to return. It has been 8 eight weeks since my last injection and signs of my period returning are back. I'm spotting and experiencing mild cramps. All in all my experience wasn't bad. Hope this helped someone oxoxox"

For Prostate Cancer "69 years old. Had seed implants 16 years ago . PSA slowly creeped up and due to an incompetent doctor, it spread to my spine before getting any treatment...Thankfully , I made a visit to another MD and got 1st class care. I just had my 2nd Lupron injection (3 month interval). No side effects other than mild hot flashes. I keep a strenuous exercise program in place and I thinks that helps a great deal . On Zuniga also. PSA down to .50 from high of 17"

For Uterine Fibroids "I had my first Lupron shot on August 10, 2012. I started bleeding August 21, and it is now September 29 and have been bleeding ever since. I've had a problem with anemia due to two fibroids. I had my second Lupron shot on September 10. I'm not sure I should continue this because I'm scared I won't be able to have surgery on November 2 due to anemia caused by blood loss. Overall, Lupron is not working for me."

For Endometriosis "Ok y’all I admit before taking Lupron Depot 11.25 Mg 3 month injection; I read every review I could find. I was disappointed to find mainly negative reviews but I took a leap of faith and decided to get the injection anyway. Within the first month I truly regret that decision. In tough situations I typically look for the silver lining. However I was not prepared for the extreme fatigue (No more 5am workouts), hot flashes all day every day, night sweats that literally leave my side of the bed soaked (it’s totally gross), but the topper is body aching and hurting down to my muscles and bones like I have the flu...every day going on 63 days straight. I am 38 yrs old, good shape, active when I started the injection I was 115lbs, I am now 130lbs with no energy. Needless to say I am declining the 2nd treatment and look forward to 2-6 months when all of the side effects should fully wear off and hopefully get my normal life back."

This medicine shouldn't be given to women for endo! I have been in the worse pain and depression that I've ever had in my entire life thanks to this medication"

For Uterine Fibroids "I was diagnosed with a 13cm fibroid. The doctor wanted to shrink it to be able to perform a lathroscopic hysterectomy. I was having CONSTANT heavy bleeding for months on end, even the transamic acid wasn't slowing it down. First drug we tried was Fibristal. It was supposed to slow the bleeding and shrink the fibroid. I took this for 6 months and it did ABSOLUTELY nothing. The doctor then suggested Lupron Depot. The first week on Lupron was hard. Bleeding was much heavier than before (which was already horrible). But by week 2 the bleeding completely stopped. By 5 months on Lupron my fibroid had shrunk to 11cm. A bit of hot flashes. Some fogginess/irritability, but that's normal for me...lol"

For Prostate Cancer "I’m a 66 yo male who was diagnosed with moderately aggressive prostate cancer with Gleason score of 8 and PSA of 7.2. I’ve had 2 Lupron injections which have caused the following side effects: a chemical smell, muscle weakness, hot flashes, fatigue, PSA - <.01, insomnia, anemia, decreased leukocytes, decrease size of penis and testicles, bone pain in back and sacrum. I have one more shot in July. I was taking Zytiga for a while."

For Uterine Fibroids "I feel the obligation to share my experience as it might help someone looking for some answers. I was prescribed this Lupron Depo shot prior to my second fibroid surgery with the intention to shrink a large fibroid, as the 1st surgery was unsuccessful at removing the whole thing. I was bleeding significantly due to the fibroid and the only benefit of having this shot was that it did stop my bleeding completely for 3 months. Other that, I cannot ethically say anything positive about this shot. I started to have these large, painful cysts on my face that have yet to subside. It’s been 6 months since I got a 3-month dose shot and my face is still covered in cysts. Ironically, this shot also made my fibroid grew bigger. It took an additional 2 attempts to remove the fibroid. The whole point of the shot was to shrink it so only 1 more attempt would be needed. Please do your research. This shot completely messed up my hormones."

For Endometriosis "Worst mistake of my life!! I had one 3 month shot when I was 17 and I'm still regretting it (I'm 21 now). I was pretty much paralyzed while on it. I couldn't move on my own. I needed help to even sit up in bed. I missed so much school/work and cried almost all day every day. I was in so much more pain. I was constantly sick (vomiting, nausea, painful bowel movements, headaches, joint pains) and the menopause symptoms were absolutely crazy. I still to this day have stomach issues I didn't have before. I have bone density loss as well. I will never recommend this drug to any woman. It is not meant for us."

For Uterine Fibroids "I was so skeptical about these shots, scared to death of the side effects after reading posts...I could kick myself! My shirts fall past my waist, I always looked pregnant. Slight headache, took generic aspirin, did the trick, hot flashes, weird but no that bad. Cycle, had one regular (heavy) period then skipped. Overall, I was so satisfied, I just called and ordered my second shot (I get them quarterly). Everyone reacts different to different types of medication...what works for others may not work for you but this did work for me. Good Luck...Sorry for the grammer stuff was in a rush"

For Endometriosis "Honestly I was so sick of having surgeries constantly and so my OB recommended me trying Lupron for my endometriosis - 1 shot once a month for 6 months and longer if i would like to. I was told I couldn't have any more babies. I had tried everything and nothing worked to have another. Got on lupron for my extreme pain from endo and for the first month I got a horrible period like period then after that I didn't have a period. When I got off it I was prego and didn't even know. I got my rainbow miracle baby thanks Lupron and my endo hasn't returned since then thank goodness. Yes hot flashes, being sick in the morning, tired a lot because I couldn't sleep and mood swings from hell was all worth it. I will definitely be back on this if my endo comes back!!!! Definitely a 10 star review from me! (I stayed on lupron for 9 months)."

For Endometriosis "I would like to address women who already struggle with depression, insomnia, or mood disorders, like myself. If you're already bad off don't do this to yourself, it might be the final "push". I got the 3month shot (+add-back) and it made me suicidal. My moods went from extreme anger to sobbing, insomnia, HOT FLASHES, and my left arm kept going numb in daily activities! This went on for a month, at 2 months I leveled out. Not far into the 3'rd month the hot flashes came back, cold sweats (felt like drug withdrawal), and my pain was back! I went to my Ob/gyn 1 week early because of this to find I had grown 11 new painful cysts! It didn't even work, and to stop it is also unpleasant (withdrawals). Worst med decision I ever made! HELL!"

For Endometriosis "I'm on day 48 of treatment and had my second shot on 11/04/2013. With the first shot I bled, 2 weeks prior and another 3 weeks after. After that I haven't bled since. I'm being treated for lifelong (23 years) Endometriosis. I have been disabled since 13 years old because of it. The only symptom I have had is SEVERE NON STOP hot flashes. I will have a hysterectomy in December."
