Vicoprofen (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "Was prescribed following surgical tooth extraction. Worked good, let me finally get some rest, albeit after getting sick for the first dose. I get sick on the first dose of most pain meds tho, pretty sure it's common."

Vicoprofen (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "I had rotator cuff surgery last year and my surgeon had me take Vicoprofen for the pain. It worked great for the 4 or 5 very painful days I experienced post-surgery. But, please don't take it on an empty stomach. It will make you very sick!"

Vicoprofen (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "I was prescribed this medication after having a cyst, spur and small piece of bone taken out of my foot. I highly recommend eating a large meal before taking this pill because if you take it on an empty or somewhat empty stomach, you will have vomiting. Also, since I had close to 20 pills left, I take one pill every 6 hours for my severe menstrual cramps. This is a GREAT medication for pain."

Vicoprofen (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "My dentist prescribed Vicoprofen for pain following a tooth extraction that wasn't healing well. I am 30 and pretty healthy, took it at dinner. Was up all night throwing up. Felt dizzy, confused and anxious. Horrible. Didn't help the pain any either."

Vicoprofen (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "I had broken wrist.. ended up with carpal tunnel syndrome. The doctor did surgery, still was in pain after taking Lortab5 with Tylenol. The nerve from carpal tunnel became very inflamed and walked the floor like a wild animal. Ended in ER they gave me Vicoprofen which really helped the the nerve pain I used to take ibuprfen 800mg 2 a day years ago."

For Pain "Have been on Vicoprofun 7.5/200mg for about 4 years now for fibromyalgia. It is the only thing I've found that helps. Its sad that you can't find Drs anymore to write these meds. The downside is I have to keep taking one every 4 hours to keep pain down and thats if I'm not doing anything physical. But I'm supposed to take 1 every 6 hours. And if I'm doing anything physical and the pain is bad I have to take 2 but it gets rid of the pain completely. Also I haven't built up a tolerance as I have other meds like Klonopin. But this med actually works better for my anxiety than actual anxiety medicine. So it is a 2 for 1. Just can't get my Dr to write me 5 a day which is what I really need."

For Pain "I have been in severe all over body pain for about 4 years now. I am only 26 so no doctor believed when I talked about how debilitating my pain was, I wouldn't even get on the floor with my 4 year old because I was not able to get up off the floor without being in excruciating pain from my body getting stiff on me FINALLY after several doctors my current doctor discovered I have fibromyalgia. Until you experience the real pain that it truly has you can not be cynical about it as I once was. I now live in pain but this medication I take every 4 hours 1 x 7.5/200 and can actually enjoy life. No I'm not COMPLETELY pain free but no longer nauseated from too much Tylenol and for bad days take oxycodone. "

For Pain "Have “weak spot” in my back and I’ll turn wrong way and pain is so bad, I’ll fall to my knees. Can’t sit can’t stand. Can’t move without rolling in pain. Dr gave me hydrocodone 7.5/325 / flexeril 10 mg/and told me to get a deep tissue massage at the chiropractors. The hydrocodone? Erased the pain for about 3-4 hrs. I had Percocet before and it made me sick to my stomach. Hydrocodone didn’t. Took it for three days. First day- took 4. Second day- 3. Last day only needed one at end of day. Didn’t make me “loopy” or wanting more. Made the pain tolerable while the muscle healed. Got a little constipated, but that was small price to pay for relief from excruciating pain."

Vicoprofen (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "Vicoprofen was prescribed to me after a Laparoscopy (removed ovarian cyst) I hardly felt anything at all. I only need to take it about once every 12 hours. Please eat first. I was lightheaded and confused after taking it once on an empty stomach. Also, don't drink alcohol. My surgery was a few days before Thanksgiving and I had a glass of wine and felt sick to my stomach all night through the next day. Never make that mistake again. Overall the medication was good. Like I said, I felt nothing after taking the pill."

For Pain "Cheap, short term only, good for a couple of hours of moderate pain relief. Taking 3-5 of 7.5/325 a day with the Butrans patch. With this combination at there maximum effectiveness brings my knee and hip pain from a 7-9 to a 3-4. Only downside of the hydrocodone is mild constipation and slight drowsiness."

Reprexain (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "It does help with my pain from having trouble with TMJ, but I have been nauseous a lot lately. Usually when my jaw acts up I get major migraines and sensitive to light and even end up throwing up and having to put pressure until it goes away - but now I can take this and it goes away fast"

For Pain "Prescribed this drug following hernia surgery. Took awhile for it to kick in but when it did it worked great. Had to take every 6 hours to remain effective. Stopped taking as soon as pain got better to avoid building up tolerance;may need it again in a month or so. I'm having oral surgery."

Vicoprofen (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "Very effective medicine. I got 4 wisdom teeth extracted and was prescribed it. Took a while before it kicked in but when it did my pain was completely gone. Lasted about 3 or 4 hours. I didn't experience many side effects, other than slight constipation and a small sense of dizziness. I slept perfectly fine while on it. "

For Pain "After many surgeries beginning in 3003 with bilateral mastectomies, then 7 rib pain from broken surgeries on my right leg/knee I have had to use many pain medications and have now been left with one leg longer, residual shingles nerve pain, rib pain. Hydrocodone has proven to be adequate to handle the different types of discomfort left after any and all treatment is now done. I have had good results from this particular generic. Others used, Activis, Watkins, have caused irritability, severe itching of the scalp and face without rash and less control over the pain and aching. Quality of life is so important."

For Pain "Very good for pain and as a cough suppressant. Doesn't seem to make me nauseous like codeine. The only caveat is that it will make your prostate swell so you may get a burning prostate after extended use if you already have BPH."

Reprexain (hydrocodone / ibuprofen) for Pain "I really get excellent relief from this medication. It's very hard to find, but if you are to get a prescription for it and if your pharmacy knows you well, they will reorder it, if your taking it monthly, while deciding over surgery or to continue physical Therapy. The nerve pain associated with my accident and compression fractures, and my nerves is a bit to much. I also find great relief in the lidocaine patches, another very costy form of relief, but I will pay the monies, to not suffer from this pain. It can be unbearable! "

For Pain "As someone who has chronic pain issues as well as having had A LOT of surgeries I can tell you that I have taken many painkillers. I normally have best results with Lortab 10/500 (hydrocodone 10/500) but I really think for muscle and skeletal pain Vicoprofen works MUCH better. Most doctors these days are so concerned about the Tylenol issues with the liver that they prescribe Norco (hydrocodone 10/325) and it is almost totally ineffective, at least for me. I would highly recommend Vicoprofen as it works very, very well. I even think the Vicoprofen 7.5/200 is working better for my low back/hip pain than the Lortab 10/500."
