Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: You know, I have to say that reading most these reviews scared me but I went ahead and took Tri-Sprintec anyway after being automatically switched from Tri-Cyclen Lo and I am not experiencing any side effects. I don't even notice a difference so my advice to other people is to try it out and not base your opinion on these reviews because each women's body will react differently to any prescription medicine and you will never know if it's a fit for you until you give it a try.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: Within the 1st week I went from a happy optimistic girl, to a very unhappy, unstable individual. My experience: crying for no reason, complete misery, severe weight gain, anti-social, exhausted, nauseous, dry eyes, high anxiety, NO sex drive, painful sex, cramping, bloating, irrational behavior...

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was extremely skeptical about trying Sprintec after reading the numerous online comments about it. However, I was forced to switch to it for financial reasons. However, after several months of using Sprintec, I have not experienced one single negative side effect. In fact, it has improved my periods tremendously! I get no cramps, very little bloating, a very light period that only lasts 2-3 days, and no mood changes. I love it so far! Don't be deterred by the negative reviews out there...each birth control affects each person differently. If you haven't had problems with the pill in the past, then maybe you won't with this one (like me).

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Tri-Sprintec for 4 months now and it is great. I had been on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo before, but switched because it was so expensive. I have had absolutely no problems with either pill. No headaches, no nausea, no weight gain, no breakout problems, and best of all no pregnancy. On Tri-Sprintec my periods are slightly shorter than they used to be, and I hardly have any cramps now, whereas without birth control pills I had terrible cramps for the first two days of my period. I am not moody, either. I would recommend this pill to anyone currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, or anyone at all for that matter.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I took Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for a year, during which I was having intercourse very regularly. It was the only form of birth control I used, and although I did miss a few pills, my menstrual cycle was always on time, although I often lightly bled during the third week as well. It had the added benefit of clearing up all of my acne, when previously I would get zits on my chin, forehead, and back. The side effects were mild; a nauseous feeling when I first woke up, and constant vaginal dryness.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been taking Sprintec for 3 years now. It has worked really well for me. Before this I would get very moody, get menstrual migraines, have really bad cramps, and when I was 18 I started getting nauseous/sick every other month within the first couple of days of my period. Since taking Sprintec I feel my mood has greatly improved, I no longer get sick/nauseous, my cramps have become more than tolerable, and I noticed no increased acne or weight gain. I haven't experienced any of the yeast infection/urinary tract problems with this. However every girl will react differently to different birth controls. If it doesn't work for you, don't worry; just call your doctor and discuss some new options. Eventually you will find something that works for you.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Endometriosis: I have been taking this OC for 4 years. I have mild endometriosis with occasional pain and/or discomfort. This pill is amazing. It helps decrease the level of pain. I have had fewer mood swings. I have less bleeding during menstruation. I highly recommend this oral contraceptive to any woman who has had trouble with other OCs.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been taking birth control pills for many years and Orth Tri-Cyclen Lo has been very tolerable with no side-effects besides one: PREGNANCY. I thought it was better than all the others I've tried since it didn't give me headaches or nausea, but I'd take headaches and nausea any day over this. I took this pill exactly as directed, at the same time every morning, never missing a single pill. I avoided foods and medication that could possible interfere with the pill's effectiveness. After a year of being on Ortho Tri-Cylcen Lo and having periods you could set your watch to, I noticed I was a day late. Unfortunately, I have become part of that very small percentage of women that becomes pregnant while taking hormonal contraception.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am completely satisfied with this pill. Unless you have really bad side effects I wouldn't listen to reviews of people that have been on it for few days only. You have to give your body time to adjust to hormones that you put in, 3-4 months. I am happy with this pill, no side effects at all. It regulated my periods, I know when they're coming and they're short. It keeps my skin clear. No weight gain, slightly bigger breasts but not complaining. No depression, headaches, hair loss or breast soreness. It only costs me $9.99...can't beat that! This pill works perfectly for me.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: It hasn't made me sick or caused acne. I went to the doctors twice from urinary tract infection since I've been on it. I've been taking it for a month now and my mood has changed severely. I have no interest in sex at all, I get dry and I have no intention of wanting to do it. I feel stressed and depressed and I've never been like that. I feel bad for my boyfriend and its been ruining our love life. I'm calling my doctor to switch as soon as she is available. When they say birth control doesn't affect your mood, they are wrong! Read the other reviews.

TriNessa (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am now 21 and have been on TriNessa since I was 15 years old, so 6 years on the same pill is a long time, obviously I love it. I originally was placed on the pill to control my VERY painful pains and cramps during my periods, and to help control acne. Eventually when I became sexually active when I was 18, the pill was also important as birth control. Never once have I ever had a "pregnancy scare" while on this pill. I have not noticed any negative effects, no excessive weight gain, or mood swings. The first few months I was on the pill, I had some spotting but after 3 months or so that stopped. Come time for my period week, my period was a lot less painful and I had lighter bleeding as well. Strongly recommended!

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am 28 years old. I have never felt any side effects from any birth control I have ever taken. My Doctor, however, switched me to this one because of the price I assume. Since I began taking it a month ago, I have been extremely emotional, crying when I'm happy, crying when I am sad. My mood swings are having an affect on my relationship, my kids and husband, as I am less patient and more tired. My face is also breaking out, which normally only happens when I am PMSing the week before my period. I called my doctor today to switch me off of this. I am only stating my experience, to reassure others if having the same side effects that it is not you coming down with depression. It is only the pill.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: There are so many mixed reviews for this product and honestly you can't just go by what some of them say. Everyone's body is different and will react differently to medications. I've never had a problem with Sprintec, but others may. It's completely up to your body as to how it will react with the medication. It's fine to start out with it first since it is the cheapest birth control and if it doesn't work for you...switch.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: At the age of 29 I began using Ortho Try-Cylen Lo. I was a bit emotional for the first two months and then this went away. My cramps are very light, and I only have mood swings for a few hours at the begining of that week. My periods are lighter, and on schedule. The only continuous side effect is breast tenderness. It can be really frustrating.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been using Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 6 years now and I have always absolutely loved it! I never experienced weight gain, acne, mood swings and my period is every fourth Wednesday. I have no complaints. It is the perfect birth control for me.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Sprintec for over a year. I took it religiously because I have never wanted kids. I never missed a dose and took it at around the same time every day. I am now 16 weeks pregnant. So just warning some of you, be careful, don't completely rely on birth control pills. I gave my doctor a list of any medications I had taken while I was on Sprintec and she told me that nothing that I was taken was known to affect Sprintec.

TriNessa (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Tri-Nessa for 5 years never using any other form of birth control..no condoms or anything. I decided to switch birth control pills, 3 months later I got pregnant. Needless to say, I had the Doctor put me back on Tri-Nessa.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: It works for not getting pregnant, but I get really moody and yell at my boyfriend a lot. I get really bad chest pains and can't breath well at times. My left arm goes numb and hurts, I was fine before I started taking this pill, since I've been on I've been nothing but sick for 6 months now.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: This is my third type of birth control pill over the last 4 years. I've gone on and off birth control, mostly because I'm not sexually active very much unless I have a boyfriend. Currently I'm on my 5th packet.
Pros:
CHEAP! $9 at Wal-Mart
No taste
Easy to swallow.
Periods reduced to 4-5 days when they were lasting 7-8 days before.
Cons:
Bad nausea and headaches on the first 3 packets.
Slight breast tenderness upon resuming a new packet. Usually only lasts for a couple days.
Delayed periods. On my old birth control I would get them the next day after stopping a packet but now it takes 3-4 days for it to start.
Painful cramps for the first day of period.
Overall, I'd recommend it. All types of birth control will give you some of these side effects.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have PCOS and I had gone without a period for 10 months. My doctor put me on Loestrin. I was extremely moody and emotional, crying over everything and very depressed, plus I was spotting and bleeding almost constantly. Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo is the second pill my doctor prescribed, and I am beyond happy with it. I don't even notice that I'm taking it. There are no mood changes, I have lost a little bit of weight and it has even helped with my Rosacea. My periods are coming around the same time every month, which is wonderful because I am finally able to know when to expect it, something that I have never been able to do. The only complaint I have is bad cramps, but they only happen in the first couple of days.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I used Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about a year and a half. It worked pretty well in that I did not get pregnant and did not experience any harsh side effects. (On previous Birth Controls, I experienced sore and enlarged breasts, extremely decreased sex drive, and difficulty even responding to sexual anything). However, I did have more vaginal fluid than I was comfortable with and the fluid also had a different/weird odor. It helped my skin dramatically for the first couple of months, but after that it only helped some. My period was lighter and shorter on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, so that was a plus! No weight gain, no moodiness. On the whole, I'd say it was a successful birth control experience.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I took tri-sprintec for almost 3 years. Finally last year as a freshman in college i quit taking it- realizing then only how much i hated it. Tri-sprintec did reduce my cramps and bloating but it made me very moody and irritable. I felt angry a lot and did not realize this until i quit taking the pill. I also gained about 8 pounds with in the first month and my appetite was way up, i was hungry all the time. To make matters worse, my hair started falling out / I was shedding a ton, my hair got a lot thinner. My breasts which are already inconveniently large got even bigger.I feel awful that i put up with this medicine for almost three years- I was naive and thought that these were unavoidable side affects, I would never recommend this pill.
