Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been on Tri-Sprintec for 4 months now and it is great. I had been on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo before, but switched because it was so expensive. I have had absolutely no problems with either pill. No headaches, no nausea, no weight gain, no breakout problems, and best of all no pregnancy. On Tri-Sprintec my periods are slightly shorter than they used to be, and I hardly have any cramps now, whereas without birth control pills I had terrible cramps for the first two days of my period. I am not moody, either. I would recommend this pill to anyone currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, or anyone at all for that matter.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I'm 16 and have been on birth control for a couple months. I started out on loestrin 24 and loved it, no side effects at all, but it was very expensive, so yesterday my mom got me Tri-Sprintec and I took a pill around 6 and felt fine, so I went to bed and woke up at about 1 in the morning with a horrible feeling in my lower stomach and I felt extremely sick almost as if I had the flu. It ended up getting me very sick and I ended up throwing up.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I'm not happy with this pill at all. I used to take Ortho Lo and never had any problems. Now that I had to switch, I'm more emotional, tired and I cry all the time! It's also made it a lot harder to lose weight. I'm working with the doctor so I can get back on Ortho Lo. I gave it a try.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): This is my first birth control and I'm still very pleased with it after one year. I worried that I would gain weight, but my weight has remained around the same (108 - 115 lbs). The first few months were rough. I was under more stress than usual, but I believe the pill contributed to my frequent crying spells and depression. For those that experience nausea or headaches after taking the pill, please make sure you've eaten recently. If I don't eat something beforehand, I feel like I might throw up and this feeling lasts for 20 - 30 minutes.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I was on Mononessa until the pharmacy changed their preferred generic to Sprintec. I never have acne and within days of taking the first pill I started breaking out. My period started 4-5 days before it was supposed to and I ended up having 10-11 day periods. On the previous pill I wasn't only having 5-6 day periods. This is the worst birth control experience I have ever had. I tried it for 3 months (mail order pharmacy sent 3 months worth) hoping it was just the first month, but instead I had 3 months of the longest periods of my life.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I'd been using Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about 6 years, but today I switched to a generic brand. I can only say negative about this - migraines, weight gain and tiredness. Not to mention the price. My insurance did not cover it so it cost about $50 a month. Hopefully my new pills will work out better for me.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I am 23 and took ortho tri cyclen lo (OTCL) for about 5 or 6 years. I started taking it to regulate my cycle, for lighter periods, less cramping and all the other positives the pill boasts (and got it!). I am a pretty emotional gal and this seemed to somewhat help. At worst I would say it had no effect on my mood swings but at least it did not make them worse. over the time I took the pill i gained weight and my boobs grew a cup and 1/2, but i would not blame the weight gain on the pill. OTCL even has cute little cases that you can get from the website for free which i liked and used. I would have stayed on OTCL if I was better about taking it on time and if it were not so expensive ($50 retail, $10-30 w/ insurance)

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): So far, I've been on three different kinds of birth control this month. I switched to Sprintec about 4 months ago, because it was cheap. My skin started breaking out, my periods were heavy and my emotions were out of control. I cry all the time and fight with my boyfriend.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I used Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 4 years with NO side effects or problems whatsoever. I loved this pill. In my 5th year, however, I had MONO (my doctors think, it was never actually diagnosed) which made my liver function decrease and after months of nausea, fatigue, abdominal pain, CT scans, endoscopies, etc. found that stopping the pill made the symptoms go away. My doctor's diagnosis is that for some reason when I had mono it affected my body enough that I couldn't tolerate oral contraception anymore. I'm really upset as I loved this pill and haven't had any luck with other contraceptive methods.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I was on Yaz but the problem with it is that it causes breakthrough bleeding and has a higher rate of cysts. Sprintec is very effective and regulates the period the best so far. HOWEVER, my acne has worsened a lot. If you don't have acne, I'd recommend it.

TriNessa (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I absolutely love this birth control. All of my friends are on different birth controls and are always moody and more than half of them have gotten pregnant. I have been on Trinessa for 9 months now and believe me it works! Plus I used to have extremely difficult periods. I would get 2 a month and they would last 9 days and now I have a normal period that comes once a month and only lasts about 5 days and no more getting sick and crampy either. Needless to say I thank my doctor every time I see her for introducing me to Trinessa. I now recommend it to all of my friends.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been on Ortho Tri Cyclin Lo on and off for 2 years now and haven't had a problem. My insurance switched me to this medication and I've had nothing but problems with it. Nausea and headaches, my periods have been up to two weeks longs and I've had much pain during the time of them. You should try it for yourself but for me it wasn't good and I took it for 4 months. The doctor had me stay on to see if it got better and it hasn't so I was forced to switch to something else.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): This is my first month taking it and is my first birth control ever. So far, I love it. My periods are MUCH lighter, and the cramps aren't as bad as they used to be. My face doesn't brake out as much anymore, but I brake out everywhere else. That never happened to me before. Other than that, the birth control is great.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): Sprintec gave me yeast infection, constant bleeding and loss of appetite, as well as sex drive. I haven't had a yeast infection in over ten years so I know it was the Sprintec because I got the infection after first 2 weeks of using it. I have used Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo in the past with very little side effects. I thought would be the same as Ortho. I am definitely switching back even if it costs more.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I am completely satisfied with this pill. Unless you have really bad side effects I wouldn't listen to reviews of people that have been on it for few days only. You have to give your body time to adjust to hormones that you put in, 3-4 months. I am happy with this pill, no side effects at all. It regulated my periods, I know when they're coming and they're short. It keeps my skin clear. No weight gain, slightly bigger breasts but not complaining. No depression, headaches, hair loss or breast soreness. It only costs me $9.99...can't beat that! This pill works perfectly for me.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): This is my third type of birth control pill over the last 4 years. I've gone on and off birth control, mostly because I'm not sexually active very much unless I have a boyfriend. Currently I'm on my 5th packet. Pros: CHEAP! $9 at Wal-Mart No taste Easy to swallow. Periods reduced to 4-5 days when they were lasting 7-8 days before. Cons: Bad nausea and headaches on the first 3 packets. Slight breast tenderness upon resuming a new packet. Usually only lasts for a couple days. Delayed periods. On my old birth control I would get them the next day after stopping a packet but now it takes 3-4 days for it to start. Painful cramps for the first day of period. Overall, I'd recommend it. All types of birth control will give you some of these side effects.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I agree with the other ladies when they say -try it for yourself. I have never tried any other contraceptive, but I've had a great experience with Tri-sprintec. Of course the first month or two I had the nausea and I still wasn't "regular," but after those few months it's been smooth sailing. I have been on it for around 1 1/2 years now and it's been very successful. I haven't gotten pregnant, I know exactly when my cycle is going to start and end, and you cannot beat the price! I highly recommend it!

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been on Tri-Sprintec for about 4 years and overall would recommend it to anyone. I have had some moodiness and 'depression' but only certain times of the month, and nothing I can't deal with since I know it's not REAL depression and it doesn't last long. The worst thing about it is occasional nausea. I think taking my pill right before sleeping is the best, and that way I am only nauseated if I wake up really early. I consider these side effects minor after some of my friends experiences of switching pills and all kinds of worse problems.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I'm 20 years old and have been on Tri-Sprintec for 6 days. This is my first contraceptive pill and will not be staying with it. I normally do not have mood swings, even around my period, but within the first few days of taking Tri-Sprintec I had to call my doctor and switch pills. I felt absolutely crazy and ended up skipping classes because I was crying to badly to attend. It also gave me a couple of terrible headaches, which could have been an allergic reaction. Whatever it was, I will not be taking this any longer.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I just started taking birth control 7 months ago and sadly I've had to switch now a third time. With Tri-Sprintec I'm more moody and my boyfriend and I argue a lot. I haven't felt like throwing up very much like I did with my first birth control pills. Even after switching I'm experincing little to no side effects compared to the last time I switched. Hopefully I'm finally done switching pills, good luck to everyone!

Ortho Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I was switched to Ortho-Cyclen when I began spotting on my old pill. I've been on it for about 2 months now and have had numerous side effects: Acne, increased insomnia, increased headaches, nausea, vaginal dryness and therefore painful intercourse, long period (lasted 9 days instead of the 7 you would think from the "off" week). This is the first non-low dose BC pill I've taken. I'm not sure if it was just too much for me or if the drug itself just was not a good fit for me. The generic Sprintec is nicely priced, though, compared to Loestrin 24, which I used to take and has no generics yet. I'm hoping to switch back to my old pill - loved it!

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been on this birth control for 6 months, and have had no problems with it. This is my first time on birth control. Overall taking a pill everyday is sometimes hard to remember, but I set my alarm on my phone to go off at the same time everyday, so that helps. But as far as side effects I have not experienced any.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I was automatically switched to Tri Sprintec as the new preferred generic at my pharmacy (I was taking Trinessa). I have never had such awful migraines or nausea in my life. My fiance finally pushed me to call the pharmacy and get my old pill back. It's been a huge fiasco but I'd rather be off the pill than take Tri Sprintec any longer.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I am 28 years old. I have never felt any side effects from any birth control I have ever taken. My Doctor, however, switched me to this one because of the price I assume. Since I began taking it a month ago, I have been extremely emotional, crying when I'm happy, crying when I am sad. My mood swings are having an affect on my relationship, my kids and husband, as I am less patient and more tired. My face is also breaking out, which normally only happens when I am PMSing the week before my period. I called my doctor today to switch me off of this. I am only stating my experience, to reassure others if having the same side effects that it is not you coming down with depression. It is only the pill.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I used Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about a year and a half. It worked pretty well in that I did not get pregnant and did not experience any harsh side effects. (On previous Birth Controls, I experienced sore and enlarged breasts, extremely decreased sex drive, and difficulty even responding to sexual anything). However, I did have more vaginal fluid than I was comfortable with and the fluid also had a different/weird odor. It helped my skin dramatically for the first couple of months, but after that it only helped some. My period was lighter and shorter on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, so that was a plus! No weight gain, no moodiness. On the whole, I'd say it was a successful birth control experience.

TriNessa (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I liked Ortho-tri-cyclen better, but Tri-Sprintec way worse! I experienced heavier and longer periods while on it and mood swings sometimes (could just be the norm for a 25 year old female though!). I switched to Tri-Sprintec and experienced extreme nausea, although the pharmacist insisted it was the exact same medications, just different manufacturers. I will be going back on Trinessa next month.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I started taking birth control at 18 years old, I am now 25. I was on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen for about 5 years, did great on it. Due to insurance I had to switch to Trinessa, heavier periods and more mood swings followed. Now the pharmacy gave my Tri-Sprintec because they don't carry Trinessa. I am on day 8 and am getting more nauseous by the day. The Pharmacist assured me that Trinessa and Tri-Sprintec are the exact same medicines, just made by two different manufacturers, but I have never felt so nauseous in my life. I know pregnancy is not even a consideration because my period just ended the week I started taking the Tri-Sprintec. I will be switching back to Trinessa next month, no matter the cost! Hope this helps someone with similar situation!

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): The clinic I go to didn't have my usual birth control pill, so they gave me this instead, a three-month supply. I didn't get pregnant while using this medication, so it did what it was supposed to do. However, I could have done without the longer, heavier periods and the 15 lb weight gain that has taken me months to reverse (currently taking my usual birth control).

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been on the birth control pill for the majority of the past 20 years and have never had any issues until now. I have been on Trinessa for the past 5 or so. My pharmacy switched from Trinessa to Tri-Sprintec and I do not like it at all. I have been extremely nauseous, crying for no apparent reason and bickering with my Boyfriend. I was fortunate enough to talk to my pharmacy today and they are bringing in a case of Trinessa for me and I couldn't be more thrilled. I understand they say there are the same ingredients in both, but my body believes otherwise.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I've been on this pill for just over 2 weeks now, and I've only experienced some side effects. The little acne I did have has been reduced, and in the first week I experienced slight breast tenderness for like 2 or 3 days, but it wasn't bad at all. Now that I think about it, I have become a little more sensitive to certain things my boyfriend says, but nothing major that's messing up our relationship or anything. Or, it might be caused by his innocent teasing getting to me after a while. But I think this birth control pill is very good for me, and I hope you all have a positive experience with this like I do.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I just started using this birth control. I'm still on my first pack. I've been moody and I have a little acne problem but reading these reviews have helped me know that maybe it'll go away. My breasts have been somewhat tender, but are improving now. I haven't experienced much weight-gain. And the first two weeks I felt sick, but never actually vomited. I have been more tired than normal also. But overall- it's a nice pill, small and convenient. Thanks for the other reviews! It's reassuring!

Ortho-Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I used Ortho-tri cyclen for 8 years, and had very few side effects. I had 7-day periods, which was unwelcome but expected. I gained 15 lbs over the course of taking the pill, but that is probably due to getting older (16y-24y). I never had any emotional problems or problems with sex drive that some users report. Overall, I had a good experience with this pill.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I had been on another birth control pill for a very long time and switched to Sprintec because of insurance. After starting Sprintec I had breakthrough bleeding for about 2 weeks before my regular period was scheduled to begin. I have been having breakthrough bleeding (which started similar to a very light period and is now down to some spotting) for about 2 weeks now.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): You know, I have to say that reading most these reviews scared me but I went ahead and took Tri-Sprintec anyway after being automatically switched from Tri-Cyclen Lo and I am not experiencing any side effects. I don't even notice a difference so my advice to other people is to try it out and not base your opinion on these reviews because each women's body will react differently to any prescription medicine and you will never know if it's a fit for you until you give it a try.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): Tri-Sprintec was my first birth control. I'm 15 and I'd never had a regular period until this contraceptive. I haven't had any side effects except for breast sensitivity but even that hasn't been severe. My periods are also shorter, they used to be 6-7 days but now they are 4. I definitely love this birth control and will be sticking to it for a while.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I was on Sprintec for over a year. I took it religiously because I have never wanted kids. I never missed a dose and took it at around the same time every day. I am now 16 weeks pregnant. So just warning some of you, be careful, don't completely rely on birth control pills. I gave my doctor a list of any medications I had taken while I was on Sprintec and she told me that nothing that I was taken was known to affect Sprintec.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I've only been taking this birth control for a month. I didn't know birth control could affect my mood so much. I was getting angry and upset for no reason. I would cry for no reason at the smallest things. Also with extreme tenderness to my breast and growth. I gained 5lbs and didn't sleep well. Right now I'm at the end of the cycle and finally feel like my old self.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): It's been the best that I've tried. My periods are relatively light and not super painful as a result of taking this. Spotting is occasional. Cravings for pastries are near constant but that may just be me. I do have some mood swings but it's not at an unbearable level and for the most part they are average low, rather than an insane depression. Some of my side effects are residual from other birth control pills. My extra 10 lbs, lowish sex drive, which this hasn't helped but hasn't made worse either.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been using Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about 2 and a half years. Have experienced racing heart, panic attacks constant mood swings. I get upset and cry over something little, gained about 4 pounds, boobs did get bigger though and I haven't become pregnant, so that's a plus.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for some time now and the only problem I had is during the first month of using this pill, I had "spotting". It was annoying but went away after the first month. The length of my period remained the same but I no longer have severe cramps like I did before taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. I recommend this birth control pill to all my friends and family and they too are satisfied.

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I took Sprintec for a couple of years. My mood was good and it regulated my period well. My HUGE complaint is that Sprintec gave me yeast infections almost every month. I didn't know what was wrong with me, but my doctor said it was probably the Sprintec, which has a high dose of estrogen.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I got Tri Sprintec as a birth control but I should have gone on it a long time ago to regulate periods. I love being able to predict when I'll start bleeding and I love that it has shortened my periods (Now it is six days). I had been on doxycycline for acne but it conflicted with the pill so I stopped. The first month of Tri Sprintec I was worried because I didn't stop bleeding. After the first month though, I've had no problems and no irregular bleeding. I've been on it for half a year.

TriNessa (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): No real problems here. A in pregnancy prevention in my book. I admit to not being as regular about it as I should, and sometimes miss pills. The worst that has happened as a result is irregular periods. They've come almost always after I've messed up taking my doses, so I accredit it to that. My only complaint is that it's always a bit hard to remember to take them. Not much anybody can do about that except me, I suppose.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been taking birth control pills for many years and Orth Tri-Cyclen Lo has been very tolerable with no side-effects besides one: PREGNANCY. I thought it was better than all the others I've tried since it didn't give me headaches or nausea, but I'd take headaches and nausea any day over this. I took this pill exactly as directed, at the same time every morning, never missing a single pill. I avoided foods and medication that could possible interfere with the pill's effectiveness. After a year of being on Ortho Tri-Cylcen Lo and having periods you could set your watch to, I noticed I was a day late. Unfortunately, I have become part of that very small percentage of women that becomes pregnant while taking hormonal contraception.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I'm still on my first pack. I got it for irregular periods and for birth control. My boyfriend says my moods are way worse than they ever were before and my mood swings are pretty bad sometimes. Plus when I did have my period before it lasted a week tops now its like 2 weeks and spotting even a week or two after or before. But it never made me sick like my friends and I didn't get any rashes.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I have been on Tri Sprintec for 7 years and have overall had no problems with it. I started taking it to clear up my severe acne. I had been to dermatologist after dermatologist and had been on every cream and pill to treat my acne and nothing worked until I got on Tri Sprintec. I did not gain any weight, my skin cleared up, my periods were regulated, I did not experience any spotting or anything like that. I am changing birth control pills after this pack due to longer periods. My period had always been about 6-7 days but the past few months it has been 10-12 days. I'm not sure if the lengthened period is due to the Tri Sprintec but I never had any problems with it until recently. I would recommend Tri Sprintec to anyone.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): As far as birth control goes it works but I have had horrible headaches, monthly pains that I never had before, horrible mood swings and weight gain and very bloated. I'm switching this week after my cycle.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): Well I'm an 18 year old teen just trying to be safe and smart, but continue a normal life with little side affects and this pill definitely did that for my twin sister and I. We love it. It's small and easy to swallow. No mood swings, no cramps, no sleepiness, or confusing abnormal bleeding that worries you for days it's wonderful. We both recommend this to whoever is looking for a reliable contraceptive pill.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): Ortho Tri Cyclen (in my opinion) seems to be the most effective birth control pill with the least amount of unwanted side effects. I have tried several generic forms as well as the Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo and experienced mild unwanted side effects such as cramping and spotting.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): At the age of 29 I began using Ortho Try-Cylen Lo. I was a bit emotional for the first two months and then this went away. My cramps are very light, and I only have mood swings for a few hours at the begining of that week. My periods are lighter, and on schedule. The only continuous side effect is breast tenderness. It can be really frustrating.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol/norgestimate): I took Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for a year, during which I was having intercourse very regularly. It was the only form of birth control I used, and although I did miss a few pills, my menstrual cycle was always on time, although I often lightly bled during the third week as well. It had the added benefit of clearing up all of my acne, when previously I would get zits on my chin, forehead, and back. The side effects were mild; a nauseous feeling when I first woke up, and constant vaginal dryness.
