Estradiol Patch (estradiol) "This is really a great product for hot flashes and brain fog relief! I am currently using this in addition to taking Prometrium generic, which is real Progesterone and it stopped the nighttime sweating but wasn't complete relief. The estrogen was really needed to feel like me. It was prescribed to help with osteoporosis after having had hyperparathyroidism & surgery to correct that. I won't know the bone effects of the patch until next Dexa scan, but the physical relief is worth it alone. I've never used Vivelle Dot, started on Mylan & Loved it from the 1st week, then pharmacies in my area all switched to Sandoz which doesn't seem to prevent hot flashes completely & I'm getting headaches. I have dry skin so both patches stay on ok, though Mylan was a little better. I've called everywhere to find out how to get my Mylan back. Interesting to me that different people have such varied results, but medicine treats individuals using science based on numbers and we're each a little different."
