Clindagel (clindamycin): Within two weeks of starting to use Clindagel, I had great improvement. I have never had any side effects; I may as well be putting water on my face in that regard, except for how great my skin looks. I have combination skin that's leaning toward needing some anti-aging help, and so I use the gel at night after washing my face, and mix a little of it with my day moisturizer. The other reviewer makes a good point about benzoyl-peroxide. When you need a little more help than the clindamycin, mixing in a little of that really does the trick.
clindamycin: Have been using the lotion form of clindamycin for about a week. It's working wonderfully. The only drawback is that it makes my skin somewhat oily, but not enough to be a big problem. It's the only thing that I have used that's actually working so well.
clindamycin: I've suffered from acne since I was 12 years old. I'm 29 and even as an adult I would get pimples or large boil looking pimples that would last for days. It was really embarrasing. I started taking this medication in lotion form 6 months ago and it works wonders. I haven't had any pimples since. I wish I thought about visiting my Dermatologist sooner.
clindamycin: Works wonders for my acne, but it takes a while for positive results to occur. I use it twice a day for two weeks straight whenever I get a recurrence of breakouts. Works so much faster and better when used in conjunction with Benzoyl Peroxide. For convenience, I recommend BenzaClin, a double-action gel that contains both Benzoyl Peroxide and Clindamycin as active ingredients.
clindamycin: I use clindamycin to address shaving irritation and related break-out. The lotion works wonders. Usually within 3-5 days after use I can see a big improvement in shaved areas around my neck and chin. This medicine has solved my problem. My shaved skin looks and feels great even after shaving daily.
clindamycin: It's worked wonders. I don't use it regularly, but I don't need to. Whenever I get a bad breakout I just use it and within days I'm fine again.
clindamycin: I have been using clindamycin every morning after cleansing my face almost religiously for almost 4 months and I have seen no improvement of my acne. I use Differin gel at night and still no help. All the other reviews say they saw results in days, but I still get many break outs. Also, I'm almost 18 and I just started about 6 months ago breaking out this bad. I had occasional pimples growing up but nothing bad then all of a sudden my face has gotten really bad.
clindamycin: This is the only stuff that kills my acne. I really love it. I have been using it for 1.5 months. A lot of improvement. I hope the positive effect can last forever! A little side effect, skin tends to be dry...
clindamycin: I have "backne," and this product works pretty good at keeping it from flaring up. My dermatologist recommended it over products such as Differin since it's so easy to spread -- even if you have hair back there. I don't notice any dryness or stomach problems. It does burn the first couple of times you use it, but that goes away. If you apply it to your back, make sure you also get some kind of tool to reach back there (unless you're lucky enough to have a significant other that will apply it for you). My dermatologist gave me a long stick with a pad on it.
clindamycin: This was a terrible experience. The pharmacist warned me of the side affects but I just thought it would not affect me as other medicines have not. This stuff gave me diarrhea, cramps, and nauseous. My doctor had instructed me to take it for 7 days. After 1.5 days I could not stomach this. I called him and he told me not to take any more of this medicine.
clindamycin: My doctor recently gave me a box full of sample tubes of clindamycin and in 1 week I am starting to see a difference and my face is really clearing up, and so far no side effects. I am really happy with this product.
clindamycin: Works well when combined with Accutane. If you get dry skin, CereVe (availazble at CVS Pharmacy) is great because it's a very thick lotion. It has really cleared up all of my little pimples, but the large pimples still pop up. I use it once a day (at night).
