Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Plaque Psoriasis "Tried Enstilar foam for my psoriasis but it is too expensive, too greasy, too messy and too much is wasted when spraying. It goes everywhere. Why should hands be used to apply it? Can't a product for psoriosis be applied as a roll-on or sponge tip applicator so no hands are needed to rub into infected areas?"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "Scalp psoriasis spread uncontrolled for over 2 years, it was unbearable! Less than a week on this medication, and it's almost completely cleared up. The price is high, but the results are worth it. No negative side effects."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "I’ve had psoriasis for about 15 years and never been able to get rid of it in my elbows, nails, scalp and a few other places, and while I had some success with Betacap for my scalp, nothing else seemed to work. I’ve been using Enstilar for less than a week and my elbows have returned to a once forgotten state, and it’s even made my nails look pink and healthy again. Obviously, the nails need to grow out to make them right, it’s the first time I’ve seen improvement in 15 years. As for the canned foam, I actually thought I got a dud because it comes out so fine and whispy, so I took it back to the pharmacy and they gave me the tutorial...I think I was expecting hair mousse. This stuff isn’t greasy. Once it’s been on for 10 minutes it’ll sink into your skin, and if you’re wearing a shirt just wipe off the excess. If your skin is bad and it’s ruining your life then you’ll take the hit. 100% happy with it right now and just need to keep the prescription topped up!"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "My scalp psoriasis began about 5 years, about the same time I was put on high blood pressure medication. I'm not sure if there is any connection. I have tried all kinds of medicines as well as laser therapy with no success. Recently, I went to a new dermatologist who prescribed Taclonex with great success. However, if I stop using it for more than 3 days, the psoriasis starts up again. One of my complaints is I have a hard time washing it out of my hair. The day after I use the medicine, I wash my hair at least 4 x) and it still is greasy."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "This stuff is horrible!!!! I was prescribed this for scalp psoriasis and it made it worse. This stuff makes a mess it gets all over clothes and bedding not only that but it does not wash out of hair. I washed my hair 8 times and even used Dawn dish soap and still could not get it out of my hair."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Plaque Psoriasis "I'm mad because Enstilar worked SO WELL for my psoriasis in just 12 hours - which means I have to continue to cake up my hair with this greasy product. I wore a thick cotton headband over the area I applied the product so I didn't ruin my bed sheets. The next day I washed my hair 6 different ways and barely got all the product out. I recommend Dawn dish soap. Its the best I could get my hands on to get it out."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "This is AMAZING! I've had nasty eczema on my index finger for almost a year where it was almost impossible to use the digit. It was thick, unbendable, cracking, bleeding and painful! After a week, I actually have feeling back in that finger. It has cleared up spots on my neck and behind my ears. Just amazing!"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "I've had psoriasis for 15 years and I used the taclonex ointment for a couple of years before going on biologics. Last month I had a flare up while on Stelara and my derm told me taclonex had been reformulated into a suspension and he wanted me to try it and gave me a coupon for $0 copay. Yay! I take the RX to be filled and find out that my insurance will not cover it and the coupon pays up to $300 my portion was $1433. The ointment worked well for me, so I just knew the reformulated version would work wonders. I used the suspension 2x/day for a month. This medication was extremely greasy, ruined my sheets and my clothes and actually made my psoriasis worse. I would NOT recommend this product. Try clobetasol instead."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Plaque Psoriasis "I have severe psoriasis. Winter and stress make it worse. Nothing helped until I used this. I had psoriasis on my ear which would crack. In 24 hrs the spot was gone. The rest of my body over 4 weeks was immensely better like almost gone. Combining it with light therapy which I had to stop due to cost had amazing results. Almost 100% clearing. It is a little messy but a few ruined bedsheets and frustrating mess is worth the clearing I had with this."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Plaque Psoriasis "So I last commented on this forum using Enstilar in April 2021 back then it completely cleared my psoriasis. But in 2022 it returned albeit not as badly as previously. This time I consulted a dermatologist who advised again using Enstilar but this time applying it twice daily for a month. Now 2 weeks into the treatment and psoriasis has almost disappeared. I am suffering from the side effects however it is worthwhile if it means seeing my skin free of psoriasis. I expect it will return again time will tell. I have also been told to follow up the Enstilar with other creams to be used in monthly rotation (exorex and psoriderm)."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "This drug was extremely effective at treating my psoriasis. I have fairly severe Guttate psoriasis in which I develop small spots over large areas of my body (as opposed to one large, localized spot). After applying Taclonex for only three days or so, the spots began to clear up almost completely. There are no side effects that I notice with this medication. The only negative involved is that the salve is greasy and difficult to apply. I would literally spend twenty minutes applying it to all the small spots on my body twice a day. That, combined with the fact that my whole body would be covered in a thin greasy film, led me to eventually seek out other treatment. If these don't apply to you, this medicine is hard to beat."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "I went to the dermatologist after having psoriasis on my hands, elbows, fingers and toes. He gave me Laclotion and Clobetasol foam. These did not work after using them for 2 weeks! I went to a different doctor, who gave me Taclonex, and even though it's greasy when you put it on (not like the Clobetasol foam that dried up right away), but the Taclonex got rid of the psoriasis after 7 days. It really is amazing."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Plaque Psoriasis "This is my second review...update... It's been about 30 days since I stopped using Enstilar and the skin where I applied it is awful. It's destroyed my skin. It doesn't look or feel like skin anymore - it's more like cheap bonded leather. I'm going to write about my dreadful experience with this product to the lazy dermatologist who prescribed it to me. I couldn't be more upset."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "This product is extremely greasy. It does not absorb into the skin and sits on the surface until eventually it will wipe off on clothes, furniture, bed sheets etc. As result it can't really be used in the morning, day or evening. Disappointingly CVS would not take it back for a refund on the day of sale. Also called Leo Pharmaceuticals, who make the product, and they could only offer an exchange for the same product! Outrageous considering how much money the industry makes!! Now I have 2 bottles of this expensive product I cannot use. I recommend to get the Clobetasol cream and stear clear of this one."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "My doctor prescribed this treatment and it worked very well until I ran out or missed a day....now my psoriasis has come back worse than it was before. I can’t keep up! The patches on my face hurt and are splitting and bleeding and raw, the rest of my body (I’m covered head to toe) is itchy, scaly and red. I could deal with it before with the steroid cream but now there’s too much to cover. Don’t let the doctor give this to you, you’ll regret it."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "I tried other medicine that did not work and costed me over $100.00. I tried the Taclonex liquid in a bottle for my scalp and applied to my legs. My scalp cleared in a week, my legs are coming along very well. The dark patches have completely vanished. When I went back to my doctor he was very impressed and so was I. I asked for a prescription for the ointment for my legs and use the other on my scalp on a as need basic. My doctor office also gave me the prescription card, I'm able to get 6 bottles of liquid for my scalp and 6 ointments for my legs."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Plaque Psoriasis "like others have said, it's a foam but it's sticky like glue. It's helps a little bit in keeping flare ups at bay and it may get rid of some very small spots, but it's not going to do much for any large inflamed patches."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "I absolutely love this medicine. It works wonders for my small spots of plaque psoriasis on my body. I also have scalp psoriasis which I also treat with Taclonex. I use it mainly around my hair line because it makes my hair very greasy and oily looking. This is the only ointment type of topical medication I have been prescribed that legitimately works. I was diagnosed with psoriasis at the age of 3 and am now 16 and have been using this for about 3 years now. I find that there aren't really any side effects that I can think of. If I routinely apply this every night before I go to bed, my psoriasis will disappear within a week and stay gone or come back in about two weeks without applying it."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "I have had Scalp psoriasis for over 20 years, and about 10 years ago developed it in my ears as well. I was able to calm the scalp psoriasis for a long time with Nioxin shampoo and scalp therapy, but nothing was helping with my ears - They were so bad with plaques at times I couldn't hear well, and forget wearing a headset for work! 3 days ago my doctor prescribed Taclonex after so many other things didn't work. Today I was able to wear ear buds for the first time in 5 years. As for my scalp, it started flaring up about a year ago, so I'm using Taclonex on my scalp as well. I don't notice as much change on my scalp yet, but I do notice a reduction in itching. Drawback - Very greasy in the hair, hard to wash out."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Plaque Psoriasis "Seems to really work at first but as others have mentioned the psoriasis comes back more aggressively. If anything it has made my psoriasis much worse as new patches have started as a result of use. The application is horrible, firstly don't use this near anyone with asthma as it sets my husbands chest off terribly. What ever room you use it in it coats the whole room on a fine mist which is awful to clean off anything, leaving surfaces sticky and smooth floor very slippy. I would not recommend this medication as the cons far outlay the pros. May be better if they did a version in a cream."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) for Psoriasis "I've been struggling with scalp psoriasis for 4 years and tried the OTC treatments, but nothing has worked! My dermatologist prescribed me this medication and I started applying it 2x/day on my scalp and I started seeing major improvements within a week! I've stopped scratching my scalp now and I've been happy to have this relief. Gone are the days when I would be scratching my scalp constantly and my back would be full of dandruff. I also have guttate psoriasis on my legs and trunks. The results aren't as effective and instant compared to ones on my scalp so minus 2 stars! I wish it helped clear the pink spots up right away though! Ugh, it's like acne on your legs, but more stubborn!"
