INGREDIENTS:

Dry Whey, Dextrose, Natural Flavor Ingredients, Silicon Dioxide, Propylene Glycol, Acetic Acid and the following preservatives: Citric Acid and Propionic Acid.

RESIDUE WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for use in preruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. A milk discard time has not been established for use in lactating dairy cattle. Do not use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older, including dry dairy cows. Use in these cattle may cause drug residues in milk and/or in calves born to these cows. Withdraw 5 days before slaughter. Use of more than one product containing neomycin or failure to follow withdrawal times may result in illegal drug residues.

CAUTION: Federal law restricts medicated feed containing this veterinary feed directive (VDF) drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

USAGE: For Calves (up to 250 lb): for treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli susceptible to oxytetracycline; treatment and control of colibacillosis (bacterial enteritis) caused by Escherichia coli susceptible to neomycin. Feed continuously for 7-14 days in milk replacers or starter feed. If symptoms persist after using 2 or 3 days, consult a veterinarian. Treatment should continue 24-48 hours beyond remission of disease symptoms.

Calves, Beef Cattle and Nonlactating Dairy Cattle: for treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and bacterial pneumonia (shipping fever complex) caused by Pasteurella multocida susceptible to oxytetracycline, treatment and control of colibacillosis (bacterial enteritis) caused by Escherichia coli susceptible to neomycin. Feed continuously for 7-14 days in feed or milk replacers. Treatment should continue 24 to 48 hours beyond remission of disease symptoms.

MIX & FEED INSTRUCTIONS: For Calves (up to 250 lb), feed Super Guard Type 8 in addition to the calf’s regular feed and not as a replacement. Feeding directions are based on Individual calves and not based on feeding levels or feeding programs. One (1) oz of Super Guard Type 8 medicated feed contains 0.5 gram active ingredient or 5 mg/lb of body weight To supply 10 mg/lb of body weight add 1 oz per feeding to the calf’s regular feed and feed twice per day.
