Applies to prilocaine: parenteral injection

Side effects include:

Adverse CNS and cardiovascular effects, swelling and persistent paresthesia of the lips and oral tissues, persistent neurologic deficit. (See CNS Effects and also Cardiovascular Effects, under Cautions.)
