Applies to magnesium carbonate: compounding powder, oral capsule, oral liquid, oral suspension.


Symptoms of magnesium toxicity include hypotension, nausea, vomiting, facial flushing, urinary retention, ileus, depression, and lethargy, which may progress to muscle weakness, dyspnea, extreme hypotension, arrhythmia, and cardiac arrest.[Ref]
