Ritodrine Pregnancy Warnings
Ritodrine has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal studies have failed to reveal evidence of fetotoxicity. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Neonatal hypoglycemia, tachycardia, and ileus have been reported. Rarely, ketoacidosis resulting in fetal death has been reported. Ritodrine is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.

There are no data on the excretion of ritodrine into human milk.
