Propantheline Pregnancy Warnings

Propantheline has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Propantheline should be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed.

Propantheline Breastfeeding Warnings

There are no data on the excretion of propantheline into human milk. The effects in the nursing infant are unknown. The manufacturer recommends that caution be used when administering propantheline to nursing women.
