Muromonab-cd3 Pregnancy Warnings

Muromonab CD3 has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. The manufacturer considers the use of muromonab CD3 during pregnancy to be contraindicated.

Because muromonab CD3 is an IgG, it may cross the placenta.

The effects of this as well as cytokine release on the developing fetus are not known.

There are no data on the excretion of muromonab CD3 into human milk. The manufacturer considers the use of muromonab CD3 during lactation to be contraindicated.
