Mesoridazine Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Warnings
Brand names: Serentil
Mesoridazine Pregnancy Warnings
Mesoridazine has not been formally assigned to a pregnancy category by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Mesoridazine is only recommended for use during pregnancy when the potential benefits outweigh potential risks.
Mesoridazine Breastfeeding Warnings
There are no data on the excretion of mesoridazine into human milk. Because many drugs are excreted into human milk, and because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants from mesoridazine, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.
