Use is not recommended unless clearly needed. US FDA pregnancy category: C

Animal studies have not been conducted with the Immune Globulin Infusion (Human) component of this drug. Animal studies with recombinant human hyaluronidase did not show adverse effects on pregnancy; in these studies maternal antibodies to recombinant human hyaluronidase were transferred to the offspring in utero. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. To monitor the outcomes of pregnant women exposed to this drug, a pregnancy registry has been established. Physicians are encouraged to register patients and pregnant women are encouraged to register themselves by calling 1-866-424-6724. US FDA pregnancy category C: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.

Excreted into human milk: Unknown Excreted into animal milk: Data not available Comments: -In animal studies, maternal antibodies binding to recombinant human hyaluronidase were transferred to offspring during lactation. -The effects of antibodies that bind to recombinant human hyaluronidase transferred during human lactation are unknown.
