Benzoyl peroxide-hydrocortisone has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Benzoyl peroxide-hydrocortisone topical should only be used during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.
