Using everolimus together with mibefradil is not recommended. Combining these medications can significantly increase the blood levels of everolimus, which may make you more likely to develop serious side effects such as pneumonitis (inflammation of the lungs), infection, mouth ulcers, anemia, or bleeding. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Grapefruit juice can increase the blood levels and effects of everolimus. You should not drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruits during your treatment with everolimus. Orange juice is not expected to interact.
