Regular use of antioxidant supplements including vitamin E may reduce the effectiveness of givinostat and other cancer treatments including radiation therapy. In addition, taking excessive amounts of vitamin E may cause harm to your heart. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
