Dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate - butyl methacrylate - methyl methacrylate copolymer is a cationic copolymer; one brand name is Eudragit E PO. It exists as It is a white powder with an amine-like odor. These polymers help seal sensitive active ingredients and increase patient compliance by taste and odor masking. These polymers can also impart solubility and drug release effects based on pH, provide a protective coating and impart color.
