Glucarpidase and leucovorin should not be given together at the same time. Doing so may reduce the effectiveness of both medications in the treatment of excessive blood levels of methotrexate and its related side effects. The doses of glucarpidase and leucovorin should be separated by at least two hours. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
