BUPivacaine etrasimod
Applies to: Sensorcaine-MPF with Epinephrine (bupivacaine / epinephrine) and etrasimod
Before starting BUPivacaine, let your doctor know if you are currently receiving treatment with etrasimod. Using BUPivacaine in this situation may cause a slowing of your heart rate that can lead to serious or life-threatening heart complications. This is most likely to occur within 2 days after starting treatment with etrasimod. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. Contact your doctor if you develop dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, shortness of breath, chest pain, or heart palpitations during treatment. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Applies to: etrasimod
Grapefruit juice may increase the blood levels of etrasimod. You should avoid grapefruit, grapefruit juice, or any supplements that contain grapefruit extract during treatment with etrasimod unless directed otherwise by your doctor. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. Contact your doctor if your condition changes or you experience increased side effects, such as fever, high temperature or flu-like symptoms, severe headache, confusion, seizures, dizziness, tiredness, lightheadedness, chest pain, shortness of breath, or irregular or abnormal heartbeat, blurriness or shadows in the center of your vision, and nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, anorexia, or jaundice and/or dark urine. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
EPINEPHrine food
Applies to: Sensorcaine-MPF with Epinephrine (bupivacaine / epinephrine)
Both EPINEPHrine and caffeine can increase blood pressure and heart rate, and combining them may enhance these effects. Talk to your doctor before using these medications, especially if you have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor if your condition changes or you experience increased side effects. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
