Drug Interactions between daprodustat and methotrexate

Using daprodustat while smoking or drinking alcohol may increase the risk of side effects in the gastrointestinal tract such as stomach inflammation and bleeding. You should seek immediate medical attention if you have signs and symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding such as abdominal pain, coughing up or vomiting fresh or dried blood that looks like coffee grounds, black, tarry stools, trouble swallowing, or chest or throat pain. Methotrexate may cause liver problems, and using it with other medications that can also affect the liver such as ethanol (alcohol) may increase that risk.
