Cobicistat may significantly increase the blood levels of elagolix. This can increase the risk and/or severity of side effects such as bone loss, depression, mood changes, suicidal thoughts, and liver problems. If both medications are necessary, it is generally recommended that the duration of concurrent use be limited to either 1 month or up to 6 months, depending on the dosage of elagolix you are prescribed. Food can enhance the levels of darunavir in your body. Take darunavir with food. The type of food does not matter. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication. Swallow the whole tablets with a drink such as water or milk. Do not chew the tablets. Darunavir must be always be taken together at the same time as another medication called ritonavir (Norvir).
