Drug Interactions between celecoxib and delavirdine
This report displays the potential drug interactions for the following 2 drugs:
- celecoxib
- delavirdine
Interactions between your drugs
delavirdine celecoxib
Applies to: delavirdine and celecoxib
Theoretically, celecoxib may inhibit the CYP450 2D6 metabolism of delavirdine, and delavirdine may inhibit the CYP450 2C9 metabolism of celecoxib. The clinical significance of this interaction is unknown. Patients who are poor metabolizers of CYP450 2C9 may be at a greater risk of developing high celecoxib plasma levels. Patients should be observed for altered effects of both celecoxib and delavirdine. Dose adjustments may be required if an interaction is suspected.
