omeprazole capmatinib

Applies to: Prilosec (omeprazole) and capmatinib

Coadministration of capmatinib with a proton pump inhibitor may decrease the plasma concentrations and anti-tumor activity of capmatinib. Concomitant use of rabeprazole decreased capmatinib systemic exposure (AUC0-INF) and peak plasma concentration (Cmax) by 25% and 38%, respectively. The mechanism of the interaction is unknown. Caution and monitoring are advised if capmatinib is administered along with a proton pump inhibitor.
