GENERALLY AVOID: Bretylium has been found to intensify digitoxin-induced arrhythmias, at least in feline studies. No human data are available.
MANAGEMENT: Bretylium should not be used in patients taking digitoxin unless it has been determined that digitalis toxicity is not present.
