Using doxycycline together with bacillus coagulans may decrease the effects of bacillus coagulans when these medications are taken at the same time. To prevent or minimize the interaction, bacillus coagulans should be administered at least 1 to 2 hours before or after doxycycline. Contact your doctor if you have any concerns. Your doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs.
